More About The Fellowship - To celebrate the diverse culture of art, the YLAC Counter Speech Fellowship 2019 inspire fellows of the country to build an influential content and the best will be promoted on Instagram. Under this scholarship, all the shortlisted fellows will meet on every alternate weekend for the duration of 3-4 hours in their city. The program is open for a period of two months and it is completely manageable for the students to continue this with their school schedule. This optimistic opportunity is open for the scholastic students belonging to six Indian cities (Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Guwahati, Mumbai, and Kolkata) and one in Nepal (Kathmandu).

Online registrations to the Phase I in the cities like Kathmandu, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Guwahati are currently open.

YLAC Counter Speech Fellowship 2019- Benefits and Rewards

All the shortlisted qualifiers of the scheme will get an opportunity to attend a 2-month fully-funded training program in the assigned cities of India. Counter Speech Program 2019- Event Schedule

Currently, the application window is open for the praiseworthy students of Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Kathmandu.

For Kathmandu- The sessions for Counter Speech Fellowship 2019 in Kathmandu will be held at a central location in the city. All the sessions will be scheduled from 10 AM- 1:30 PM, except the first and the last day. Students need to complete their assigned work in the form of teams through remote collaboration during the intervening weeks.

Eligibility Norms of YLAC Counter Speech Fellowship 2019

The basic eligibility norm for this scholarship scheme is as follows:

  • Apprentices of class 8th to 12th are eligible to apply.
  • Students must be lying in between the age group of 13 to 18 years of age.
  • This scheme is only available for school going students, aspirants who are 18 years old but have already completed their school are not eligible.

Process of Application

The application form of YLAC Counter Speech Fellowship 2019 consists of three necessary sections- The basics, Getting to know you, and Your creative self. In order to eligibility apply for the program; the participant must follow these below mentioned steps to submit an application online.

  • Go to the Counter Speech Fellowship 2019 website.
  • Click on the ‘Application’ tab, presented at the top of the page.
  • Choose Counter Speech Fellowship and start filling your application form.
  • Enter all the basics details- fellowship city, name, school, date of birth, etc.
  • After this, start writing your personal experience in the above mentioning themes maximum in 200 words.
  • Now, attach all the necessary documents in the application form.
  • At last, click on the ‘Submit Application’ button and send your entry.

Counter Speech Fellowship 2019- Selection Process

The final results will be evaluated on the basis of participants responses in the application form and their performance in the Personal Interview round.

Round 1: In this round students have to fill the descriptive online application form before meeting the deadline. i.e. 20th April 2019 for Kathmandu, 19th May 2019 for Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Kolkata.

Round 2: Apprentices who passed round 1 are called for the interview round. The interview round will be conducted on 4th May at a central location in Kathmandu. The round 2 will be held on different dates for other selective cities as follows:

  • Hyderabad- 16th June 2019 (Sunday)
  • Guwahati- 9th June 2019 (Sunday)
  • Kolkata- 8th June 2019 (Saturday)
