COMEDK-UGET 2019: Important Dates, Eligibility, Application Form, Exam Pattern & Syllabus


The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka or COMEDK is an autonomous institution invested the responsibility to conduct and manage COMEDK-UGET 2019 to filter out the eligible students for admission to engineering courses in particular. For medical and dental courses, the autonomous institution will consider the NEET 2019 score. Admission to architecture course would be done based on the NATA score. The state-level entrance exam will be conducted to fill up around 20,000 seats in 190 participating engineering colleges. It will be held at approximately 300 centres across the country.

COMEDK 2019 Latest Updates – The registration process for COMEDK-UGET 2019 will tentatively begin in the second week of January 2019. Students can submit the application form until the second week of April 2019. After the submission of the COMEDK-UGET 2019 online application form, candidates can download the hall tickets in the first week of May 2019 to be permitted to take the test in the second week of May.

COMEDK UG Exam 2019 Eligibility

Nationality –

  • If you are a resident of India, you are certainly eligible to appear for the COMEDK-UGET 2019 irrespective of the regions or states.

Academic Qualification for Undergraduate Engineering Courses –

  • The applicants must have completed 10+2 Higher Secondary or second PUC or equivalent exam from a recognised Board or University.
  • They should have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (for general candidates) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC students of Karnataka) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with English as a mandatory subject.
  • Candidates must ensure that they have passed in the individual subject.
  • Mathematics and Physics are compulsory subjects. However, one must have Bio-Technology or Computer Science or Biology or Electronics or Chemistry as one of the optional subjects.

Note: No diploma applicants can take the exam as there is no provision for lateral entry admission.

Academic Qualification for B.Arch Courses –

  • The applicants must have completed 10+2 Higher Secondary or second PUC or equivalent exam from a recognised Board or University.
  • Mathematics is the compulsory subject along with other subjects. They should have done 10+3 Diploma with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for general candidates) and 45% (for SC/ST/OBC students of Karnataka).
  • Admission to undergraduate architecture programme will be based on the NATA score. Candidates must take an aptitude test in 2019 for admission to B.Arch courses.

Note: The Institution will not conduct an entrance test for architecture course (NATA score 2019 will be considered). Nevertheless, students have to fill in a separate online application form for B.Arch counselling.

COMEDK UG Exam 2019 Application Process

Students interested in applying for the state-level exam can fill up the application form in the second week of January 2019. Before completing the registration process, read through the general instructions carefully. The applicants must not skip any details asked in the registration form. They are mandatory. Also, the mobile number and e-mail ID should be the same throughout the entire admission process.

COMEDK-UGET Form Filling Procedure –

  • Registration: To access the application form, the candidates must register themselves at Provide details, such as name, mobile number, e-mail ID, DOB, etc. and review the details before clicking on the ‘Submit’ button. Details once submitted during the registration process will not be altered or changed later. You will receive a login user ID and password to complete the remaining process.
  • Accessing Application Form: Use the login credentials and enter information like personal details, communication details and education details.
  • Upload Documents: At this stage, you will need to upload the scanned copies of your photograph, signature, fathers’/guardian’s signature and unique ID proof. Ensure that the documents meet the prescribed sizes and dimensions.
  • Selection of Test Venue: A candidate will get 3 options to select as per his/her preference.
  • Exam Fee Payment: Release the application fee (INR 1,300/-) online using the credit card, debit card and net banking. The fee is non-refundable.
  • Form Submission: Take a quick look at the application form before the final submission.

COMEDK 2019 Mock Test

Mock test has an important role to play in helping students assess their weak points. Candidates can access the COMEDK mock test series 2019 on the official website in the first week of February after the application form release. Practice the mock test series as much as you can and understand the pattern and the types of questions asked in the final examination.

COMEDK 2019 Admit Card

If you submit the application form within the given stipulated time, your chances of availing the COMEDK-UGET admit card 2019 will be much higher.
