The Government of Madhya Pradesh runs an online portal for all the scholarships offered by the government to state students. The online portal is known as the MP Scholarship portal where candidates of different categories viz. SC, ST, OBC, and others can check the scholarships provided to them. In addition, the portal includes post-matric level scholarships for domiciled and permanent residents of the state. Furthermore, the portal offers easy access to scholarship information and application submission. MP Scholarship Portal - Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a domicile of Madhya Pradesh for all scholarships. Other eligibility details are mentioned under:

Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY), MP
  • Wards of laborers who are regarded as unorganised by the Labour Department of MP
  • Must have taken admission to a UG, PG, Diploma, or ITI program.
  • Engineering aspirants must have rank less than 1,50,000
  • Medical aspirants must have taken admission through JIPMER, AIIMS entrance exam.
  • Law aspirants must have taken admission in NLU through CLAT.
  • Those who have secured admission in a government college in any UG or integrated PG or dual degree program.

Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (MMVY), MP
  • Must have passed class 12th with 75% or more marks (from Secondary Education Board of Madhya Pradesh) or 85% or more (from CBSE/ ICSE board).
  • Annual family income must be less than or equal to ₹ 6 lakh.
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate course at a recognised university.
  • Engineering aspirants must have JEE Main rank of less than 50,000.
  • Medical aspirants must have taken admission through NEET merit.
  • Law aspirants must have taken admission through CLAT to an NLU.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC students, MP
  • Must belong to the OBC category.
  • Must be studying at the post-secondary level.
  • Annual family income must be less than ₹ 75,000 (for 100% scholarship)
  • Annual family income must be up to ₹ 1,00,000 (for 50% scholarship)

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC students, MP
  • Must belong to SC category
  • Must be studying in the post-secondary level of education

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST students, MP
  • Must belong to ST category
  • Studying at the Post-secondary level
  • Annual family income must be less than ₹ 2,50,000 (for 100% scholarship)
  • Annual family income must be between ₹ 2,50,000 and ₹ 6,00,00 (for 50% scholarship)

Model Higher Secondary Schools and Girls Education Complex Scholarship Scheme, MP
  • Can apply after class 5th, 8th, or 10th examination with a minimum of 60% marks or more.

  • The annual income of the parents of such students must be up to ₹ 3 lakh.

MP Scholarship Portal - Application Process

The application process for MP scholarships is online. Candidates are required to register through the official website. It is advised to check the eligibility conditions before applying for the scholarship. Here are the steps to be followed for application.

Steps for MP Scholarships Application

  • Visit the official MP Scholarship portal.
  • Click on the ‘Register Yourself’ option under the ‘Student Corner' section.
  • Fill in all the details and complete the registration process.
  • On successful registration, a username and password will be generated.
  • Now, visit the online schemes column and select the scholarship you are interested in.
  • Scroll down and click the ‘If Registered, Login Here’ link.
  • Log in using your username and password.
  • Complete the application form and upload the necessary documents.
  • Submit the completed application form.

It is advised to keep the login details (ID and password) safe. If candidates forget any of the login details, they can be recovered using the following procedure.

Recovering Scholarship ID - If a candidate forgets his scholarship ID, they can recover the same using the ‘Search Student Record’ option. Here you need to provide a minimum of three letters of your first name, category, and district, and then ‘Search Details’ for scholarship ID.

Recovering Scholarship Password - The password can be retrieved using the ‘Recover Password’ option under the student corner. Two options are provided to reset the password. You can follow any one of these.

MP Scholarship Portal - Checking Application Status

MP scholarship portal allows applicants to check the status of their applications. The steps for tracking your application are mentioned below:

  • Visit the official website.
  • Under the ‘Track Application Status’ section, you will find various options to track the application status. Select as per your application.
  • Enter your applicant ID and click the ‘Show Details’ button.
  • Your scholarship/ application activities will appear on the screen.

The application status can also be checked by logging in to your profile and checking status.
