About Ashirwad Scholarship 2020

This aim to introduce this scholarship platform is to encourage the students mainly who are economically backward (either belongs to the lower level or middle level) and discontinuing their education due to lack of wealth. Ashirwad Scholarship Benefits 2020

Candidates applying for Ashirwad Punjab scholarship will receive following benefits:

1. Funding for higher education – Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category will receive funds to complete post-matriculation studies irrespective of streams.
2. Study tours – They will get a study tour determined as ₹ 900 for OBC and ₹ 1600 per annum for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates studying professional and technical courses.
3. Fee charges – Students will get paid for the fees such as tuition, magazine, library, medical examination, etc.
4. Thesis typing and printing charges – Up to ₹ 1000 per annum for OBC students and ₹ 1600 per annum for SC/ST will be paid on the recommendation of the principal of the institution.
5. Handy-capable students will receive an additional allowance throughout the course.

• The age of the candidate must be less than 17 years while applying for the fellowship program.
•  The family income of the SC/ ST candidate must be less than 2.5 lakhs per annum. While for OBC candidate it should be not more than 1 Lakh per annum.
•  Students pursuing the equivalent or distance courses are also eligible for this scholarship.
•  The candidates pursuing pg in medicine are not allowed to practice during their course.
• Students who receive this scholarship cannot eligible to apply for other scholarships.
