By qualifying CMAT, a candidate becomes eligible for admission in reputed B-Schools.

CMAT Exam 2018 Eligibility

Nationality –

A candidate should be an Indian Citizen.

Educational Qualification-

  • A candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from the UGC recognized University can apply for the exam.
  • A candidateappearingin the Graduationfinal year is eligible to apply for the exam. 

CMAT Exam 2018 Application Process

Candidates can apply for the CMAT Exam online from October 2017 onwards.

How To Apply

  • Visit the official website of the CMAT.
  • A candidate should get registered by entering personal details like name, Parents name, Address, Email id, Mobile number etc.
  • Once a candidate gets registered, a login id and password are sent to his/her email id to access the Application form.
  • A candidate should fill all specified columns in the Application form with the personal and educational details.
  • In the next step, the candidate should pay the Registration/Application fee. It can be paid both through online as well as the offline mode.  
  • A candidate should upload the scanned copies of his/her recent Photograph and Signature. The size of the Photograph should be 140 x 160 and the signature 30 KB.
  • A candidate should give preference of the examination centre.
  • Before clicking the final submit button, a candidate should check the application form thoroughly.

The Application fee can be paid online through the Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking. A candidate can also pay it offline through the cash payment at any SBI Bank branch

Other Details

Admit Card Issuance

Candidates can download their admit card from the CMATofficial website from January 16th, 2017 onwards. For downloading the admit card, a candidate should enter his/her Registration ID and password. A candidate should carry the admit card at the examination center.Along with the admit card a candidate should also keep his/her photograph and the ID proof.

Note – Candidates belonging to the category of SC/ST are required to carry the copy of their reserved category. Similarly, a candidate in thedisability category should keep the copy of their category.

Result Declaration

The result will be declared on February, 2018. Candidates can check their results online by entering their details- name, date of birth and the application number. TheresultSMS alerts are also sent to the candidates.

The questions in the CMAT exams are of objective type. Each question has multiple answers and the candidate is required to select one of the correct answers from the given options. There are 100 questions in the CMAT exam and the total marks for which the exam is conducted is of 400 marks. There are 4 sections in the question paper and each section of the question paper comprises of 25 questions. For every correct answer a candidate is given 4 marks and for every incorrect answer 1 mark is deducted.
