Madhya Pradesh Tribal Affairs Automation System (MPTAAS) scholarship is offered by the Madhya Pradesh state government for students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST). The scheme is offered by the Tribal Welfare Department of the state for providing financial assistance to students from lower classes. The main aim of the scheme is to promote higher education among such students. The benefit of the scholarship is transferred directly into the bank accounts of the students. MPTAAS 2023 Eligibility Conditions

Here are the eligibility conditions for the MPTAAS scholarship. Candidates must check the same before applying for the scholarship.

  • Applicants must be residents of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Students must belong to reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST).
  • The annual family income (from all sources) must be less than ₹ 6 lahks.
  • The applicant’s parents should not be employed at any government institution.

Documents Required for MP TAAS Scholarship Registration

Candidates are required to keep the following documents ready for filling out the scholarship application:

  • Passport size photograph
  • Student ID proof
  • Marksheet of the qualifying exam
  • Recent Fee Receipt and Admission Letter
  • Residential proof such as Voter ID/ Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card
  • Caste Certificate
  • Income Certificate
  • Student’s bank passbook

Application Process for MPTAAS Scholarship

Applications for the MPTAAS scholarship scheme can be submitted to MPTAAS Portal by following the steps mentioned below.

Application Submission at Scholarship Portal

  • Visit the official MPTAAS portal - scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in.
  • Click on the registration link under the ‘Student Corner’.
  • Enter your Aadhaar Number and proceed.
  • Complete the registration process.
  • After completing the registration process, click the application form link and fill in the details.
  • Upload all the required documents.
  • Submit the application form and take a print of the same for future reference.

Application Submission at Tribal Ministry Portal

  • Visit the official portal at tribal.mp.gov.in/mptaas.
  • Click the ‘New Beneficiary Profile Registration’ link under the ‘Login’ window.
  • Provide the details asked for, such as name, Aadhaar Number, Date of Birth, Town/ City, Mobile Number, Address, Email Address, Caste Certificate Number.
  • Click the ‘Save & Next’ button.
  • An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Verify the mobile number.
  • Set a User Id and password. Keep these login credentials safe for future reference.
  • Enter the ID and password to Login.

Note: The award money will be directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account.
