The program, in its fifth year now, is aimed at supporting meritorious and needy students towards pursuing higher education across disciplines. The scholarship applications are open for students across India. For Marubeni India Scholarship 2020, the application process will begin from 26th August 2020 and will close on 25th September 2020. The scholarship promotes an objective to support aspirants and helping them to fulfil their dreams. This time the organization will decide to give 100 scholarships for the best candidates and reward them a cash prize up to ₹ 40,000. Marubeni India Scholarship runs with a motive to appreciate the young talent of India. For the upcoming session of the Marubeni India Meritorious Scholarship 2020, students can enrol their entries till 25th September 2020.

Marubeni India Meritorious Scholarship Prize

Shortlisted students of the initiative will get the following rewards:

  • A total of 100 scholarships will be distributed towards the meritorious candidates.
  • Each one of them will get ₹ 40,000 as a cash reward.
  • Other beneficiary will also be provided to them.

Note: All the qualified scholars will receive prize money directly to their bank account. Complete amount of the scholarship will be paid in a single instalment.

Marubeni India Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2020

To avail the benefits of a scheme, the candidate must fulfil the eligibility criteria designed by the organization:

Participants who are eligible for the scholarship program
  • Students who have completed their class 12th examination during the academic session of 2018-19 can apply.
  • Applicants who are currently enrolled in any full-time Undergraduate/ Technical/ Professional courses with UGC recognized university or institution in Kerala region only.
  • It is mandatory to score a minimum aggregate mark of 65% or more in their board examination.
  • A student belongs to any reputed engineering, technical, management and professional institutes can also apply.
  • Family income of an applicant from all sources must be below than ₹ 4,00,000 per annum.
  • Students who avail the benefits under this scholarship scheme cannot apply for other scholarship schemes.
  • Must have a genuine bank account details.

Participants who are not eligible
  • Children of employees of Marubeni and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply in the fellowship program.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official link of buddy4study to apply online.
  2. Register yourself first using your Gmail, Facebook or Google account.
  3. Again, Log in with your verified credentials and click on ‘Start Application’ tab.
  4. Enter all the required details and attach a copy of the scanned copy of necessary documents.
  5. At last, submit your application form and take a print out for future use.

Marubeni India Meritorious Scholarship: Selection Criteria

The results of Marubeni fellowship for the 2019 year have been announced at the official portal by 17th December 2020. Candidates, who are enthusiast about this fellowship, can apply for the Marubeni India Meritorious Scholarship 2020, once the online application form will release on the official website. Eligible candidates are required to fill in the online registration form with the genuine details before the deadline. The Committee will then evaluate the submitted applications based on the following points:

  • Their class 12th performance and the annual income of the family.
  • After qualifying this round all the shortlisted candidates go through a telephonic interview round.
  • After the telephonic round, the candidates need to qualify the final personal interview round at Marubeni office.
  • The total scholarship seats will distribute amongst top 100 scholars.
  • Up to 25% scholarships shall be reserved for the meritorious students of Marubeni India Scholarship 2018-19 year students.

Rules and Regulations:

  1. Without giving any prior notice the foundation reserves the right to modify or cancel the fellowship program at any stage.
  2. The committee will decide the final call of the scholarship and no one has a right to challenge their decision.
  3. The amount of the scholarship will be distributed through normal banking channels either in the form of account payee cheque or by a direct bank transfers.
  4. The applicant needs to submit all the original documents and certificates along with their application form.
  5. The jury will reserve the rights to call for original content to verify.

Situations for Disqualification:

  • If the participant may fail to serve the original information and trying to misinform the committee, as per the tenure set by the organization his entry will be rejected.
  • The reward of the scholarship program shall be non-transferable.
  • Failing to serve original papers may disqualify the applicant’s form.
