Benefits under the Max Planck Institute Fellowship 2018

  • Those students who are selected for this fellowship receive a salary on the monthly basis.
  • They are required to enter into 24 months contract. It can be extended further or renewed for 12 months to 36 months.
  • Under the MPI-CPFS, they are granted equal opportunity for employment.
  • The total number of the fellowship is not fixed.

Eligibility for the Max Planck Institute Fellowship 2018

  • Candidates should have done Ph. D in Chemistry, Physics, or Material Science.
  • The Ph. D award should not older than 3 years.
  • Applicants should have an in-depth understanding of thin-film techniques.
  • They should be proficient in the English language.
  • Some additional conditions that are preferred –
  • A candidate is well-versed in the German language.
  • He/ she is able to interact with multi-disciplinary co-workers.
  • The candidate has experience of working at large laboratories. He/ she can handle laboratory materials well and knows basic techniques of working in laboratories.
