CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2018 for meritorious school students of class 9th to 12th

Once again the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) starts the registration process for CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2018 for the meritorious students of class 9th to 12th. For this quiz, only CBSE affiliated school can perform and get a chance to win up to ₹ 21,000/-.

For the competition, CBSE registered schools have to select and make a team of 4 students of class 9th to class 12th. With the aid of this contest, the organization helps to connect students from our culture and heritage. Through CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2018, candidates can read and understand the sustainable socio-economic development along with a touch modernization. This time 25% questions would be based on cultural practices and heritage of north-eastern states of India.

The CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2018 is a school level quiz that was conceptualized to promote history and tourism of vast cultural tradition of India. The deadline to enrol for the fellowship is 12 November 2018.

  • The application fee is ₹ 900 for the contest.
  • The amount will be paid only through online mode i.e. Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking.
  • Winners will get a cash prize up to ₹ 21,000/-
  • Helps to connect students with their culture and traditions.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Only Indian students are allowed for CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2018
  • Studying students of class 9th to 12th can apply for the scholarship.
  • Only CBSE affiliated schools can participate in this quiz.

Steps to Apply:

  1. Visit the official website to register yourself.
  2. Click on ‘Continue to Login’ tab and fill School number and CBSE affiliation number.
  3. Enter the required details and enter further information.
  4. Now pay the application fee through online mode (Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking).
  5. Click on submit tab and take a print out of your filled form for future use.

Selection Procedure:

Winner will be selected on the basis of the following aspects:

Participating teams have to appear for an online test.

2.

Only top 2 teams will be selected for the competition from each region.

3.

Once the participants clear the regional level test they will go for the national semi-finals in Delhi.

4.

If more than 20 teams will clear semi-final round, then the second round of online test will be conducted.

5.

20 teams will be divided into 5 groups of 4 teams each at the semi-final level.

Rules and Regulations:

  • One school can record only one team for the competition.
  • The online test will consist of 60 MCQs for duration of 50 minutes.
  • Approx 25% questions will be based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi.
  • Only 4 students will tie up as a team and represent their school.
  • The finals will be held in Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka Sector- 12, Delhi.
