IIT JEE Main April 2020 Exam Postponed due to Corona (COVID-19) Outbreak
NTA confirms that the JEE Main April 2020 exam is going to be postponed, due to coronavirus pandemic.
Important News! For all the JEE Main applicants, who have submitted their applications for the IIT-Joint Entrance Examinations April 2020, the exam is postponed now. As per the NTA official notification, the National Testing Agency has postponed the JEE main April 2020 examination. The decision has been taken, due to the coronavirus pandemic across the world and causing lots of difficulties for the humans.
Earlier, the exam was scheduled to held from 05th to 11th April 2020, but now the official dates will confirm on 31st March 2020. Stay updated with the officials, by exploring the ExamsPlanner portal.
JEE Main April 2020 Exam – What NTA Officials Says?
The senior official from NTA had confirmed that a new date for further NTA JEE Main 2020 exam for April session will announce on 31st March. The exam’s rescheduling steps has been taken and causing the result for government of India’s preventive steps being taken to stop the spread of Coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Since the candidates, participating for JEE main have to travel from other cities or centres to appear for the exam that is why the decision has been initiated. In major parts of the country including Davangere in Karnataka, Noida in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan the state government has imposed section 144, as the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India is climbing day by day.
JEE Main April 2020 Exam Postponed – New Dates Time-Table
NTA confirms that the new dates for JEE-Main exam will be decided in accordance with the schedule of the board exams and other competitive exams, just to ensure there is no clash.
Earlier on 18th March 2020 morning, the Central Board of Education educates board students, that the exams is going to postponed till at least 31st March after which the new dates will be published. Till then candidates are requested to stay at home and take proper sanitary precautions to fight against novel Coronavirus infection.
