What sometimes happens, due to technical glitches the payment doesn’t get through successfully. Since this can happen to anyone, just be wise and check the status of fee payment at the NTA official website. If it shows ‘OK’, you will be able to get a printout of the confirmation or acknowledgement page. What if the status shows ‘Not Ok’? Here’s what you should do –

  • Check whether the fee is paid through e-challan by depositing cash, get in touch with the particular bank and update the status on the web portal.
  • In case, you have paid through the credit or debit card and the status is still not okay, be assured that you are going to get a refund. The transaction is not successful, and you will receive the amount back to the original mode of payment within 7-10 days. It is advised to make the payment once again and recheck the status.

Step VI – Booking Dates and Slots:

The JEE Main (April) 2020 will begin in the CBT mode from 7th to 20th April 2019 in 8 different sittings. This is certainly a convenient move and candidates can choose their dates and slots as per their wish.
