IIT re-opens GATE 2020 Registration Window for Jammu & Kashmir Candidates

IIT Delhi has decided to re-open the GATE 2020 application process from 30th October to 8th November 2019 for the J&K students.

IIT Delhi reopens the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2020) registration window for the students belonging from Jammu and Kashmir region. This is an astounding opportunity for those who weren’t applying for the GATE 2020 exam due to the unavailability of internet connectivity in the state. Keeping this in view, the GATE conducting authority IIT Delhi has decided to re-open the application process for those who have been left out from J&K.

GATE 2020: Check Official Notification

The IIT Delhi has published a GATE 2020 notification and inviting Jammu & Kashmir students to enrol and participating in the exam. As per the official updates, a large number of candidates from the state have already applied for GATE 2020 examination. However, as per emails and phone calls received from a few J&K candidates regarding the unavailability of internet connectivity due to Article 370, few hundred aspirants of GATE 2020 in the region not have been able to apply.

How to Apply for GATE 2020?

  • Visit the official website, which is gate.iitd.ac.in
  • Tap the link, which states “The application portal is open for candidates from J&K from 30th October to 8th November 2019”.
  • From the link, click on the “Click here” tab and then go to the “New User” button and click on it.
  • Register your entry for the GATE 2020 application form and then go back to the Login page and enter the generated login credentials.
  • Fill the application form and complete the GATE 2020 registration process.

Earlier, this month the exam conducting body has opened the GATE 2020 Application Form correction window for those who have entered incorrect details in the application form including Name, City, Parents details, etc. The last date to edit and make changes in the application form is 15th November 2019.
