The CMAT 2019 exam is all set to be conducted by NTA, i.e. National Testing Agency. The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level examination which is held to select preferable candidates for the GDM, MBA and similar, PGCM & Executive PGDM programmes. The CMAT exam scores are welcomed by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approved universities, colleges or institutions in India. The CMAT 2019 application process will start from 1st November 2018 and candidates need to stay prepared with the right process to fill in their application forms correctly.

NTA CMAT 2019 Registration Process

The application process for CMAT 2019 exam is ready to begin from 1st November 2018. The aspirants can download their application forms from the official website of the conducting body, i.e. NTA. The filling in of the application form is a 3-way process – Registration, filling in the details and payment and submission of the form. Let’s get into these 3 steps of filling the CMAT 2019 application deeply.

Step-1 Registration via a login setup

If you are an existing user, then login in with the existing login credentials. If you are logging in for the first time, you need to prepare an account by generating the user id, password, and DOB at the official website of NTA at www.nta.ac.in.  Once done, login to your account and look for the notification related to the CMAT 2019 application process and open it.

Step-2 Filling in the Application Form

After login in and getting access to the application form, first read all the necessary details and instructions. Fill up the application form with required personal details, academic details. Upload the scanned photograph and signature in their prescribed column and format. Also, you may select the 3 cities at a time for the exam within India.

Step-3 Application Fee and Form Submission

Once you are done with filling in the details, pay the requisite fee via online mode- net banking, debit, and credit card. The application fee for General and OBC candidates is ₹ 1400/- and ₹ 700/- for SC/ST and female candidates. In case, you are planning to pay the fee via offline mode then generate 3 copies of Challan and submit it to the nearby branch of the bank with correct details.

After completing the entire process, you need to select the “I accept” button to submit the application form. Once the application is submitted, a pop-up message will appear on your screen “Thank you for successfully registering for the CMAT exam 2019”.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria

The following are few eligibility norms that you need to clear off in order to sit for 2019 CMAT exam.

  • You must be a citizen of India.
  • There is no prescribed age limit for the appearing aspirants.
  • You must have completed your graduation or its equivalent (10+2+3) from the recognised university or institution. Even if you have done bachelors with a distance mode or Open University, you are still eligible to apply.

CMAT Exam Pattern and Syllabus/Topics

The Common Management Admission Test 2019 will be CBT (Computer-based test) and of 3 hours total duration. There will be 400 marks in total from the sections-Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and general awareness. Each section will have 25 questions making it a total of 100 questions.

CMAT 2019 Exam – Essential Documents to Have

You may need to have following important documents until the examination procedure comes to an end.

  • All education documents/certificates.
  • The current proof of id from Adhaar card, DL, Passport, college/school id and others.
  • Multiple copies of passport size photographs in hard copy.
