CMAT 2023: Application Form (Released), Exam Date, Eligibility, Pattern & Syllabus

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level management entrance exam that was conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) till 2018. As per a recent announcement made by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the exam will now be conducted by the newly formed National Testing Agency (NTA). However, the eligibility, pattern, and other details related to the exam will remain the same. All the AICTE-approved B-Schools accept the CMAT score for admission to their postgraduate management courses.

CMAT 2023 Latest Updates: 

  • Notification for CMAT 2023 was released on 13th February 2023.
  • Application Form can be filled in by candidates from 13th February 2023 and the last date to submit the application form is 6th March 2023.
  • The last date to submit the fee will be 6th March 2023.

The total duration of the CBT is 180 minutes (3 hours). There is a negative marking scheme in the exam where 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

CMAT 2023 Syllabus

As of now, NTA has not prescribed any syllabus for the exam. However, considering the statement that there will be no change in the syllabus and exam pattern, CMAT syllabus would comprise of different topics from Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, Language Comprehension, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Data Interpretation, and Quantitative Aptitude.

CMAT Exam 2023 Eligibility

Nationality

The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Final year students of bachelor’s degree course whose result will be declared before the commencement of the academic year 2022-23 are also eligible to apply for the exam.

CMAT Exam 2023 Application Process

CMAT 2023 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The online registration process has begun on 13th February 2023, while the last date to apply online is 6th March 2023. Candidates are advised to register for the exam and complete the application process before the last date of the exam. The CMAT application process can be completed through the following steps:

How to Fill CMAT 2023 Application Form -

  • Go to the official website of NTA.
  • Scroll down and click on the “Management” section.
  • You will be redirected to the management exams page.
  • Click on the ‘Registration’ button under the CMAT exam section.
  • Enter the details asked for to complete the registration process.
  • Now log-in with the registration Id and password to complete the application process.
  • Provide all the details asked for such as personal information and educational qualification. Upload scanned images of required documents and make fee payment.
  • Review the completed application form before final submission.
  • You can take a printout of the completed application form for future reference.

Mode of Fee Payment -

Registration Fee/application fee can be paid through both online or offline mode of payment. Online payment can be done through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card, and offline payment can be done through e-challan at SBI bank branches.

CMAT Exam 2023 Other Details

CMAT 2023 Admit Card

CMAT exam 2023 admit card will be released on the official NTA. Candidates are required to log in with their registered ID and password to download the admit card. It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the examination venue for appearing in the exam. Also, carry valid ID proof to the examination center.

CMAT Result 2023

The results of CMAT 2023 will be declared online by the National Testing Agency. Candidates will be able to check the result using their registered Id through the official NTA website. In order to obtain the CMAT 2023 result, one should need to pursue these steps:

  • Visit the official website of CMAT 2023.
  • Click on the relevant link and enter the communicating details that you get at the time of CMAT 2023 registrations (CMAT Exam Roll Number/Registration Number and Password).
