NMAT is referred as NMIMS Management Aptitude Test. This exam’s is held on national level for admission into Post Graduate level courses .The NMIMS (Narsee Monje Institute of Management Studies) through the NMAT exams take candidates for admission into its various Management programme. GMAC (Graduate Management Aptitude Council) manages and conducts this exam. The GMAC’s NMAT Exams enable management institutes to take the best minds for studying the management programmes. Eligibility for NMAT Exam

Educational Qualification –

The candidate should have done his Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3/4 system) with a score of 50% marks in aggregate, in any discipline from any recognised University by the UGC.

  • Specific educational requirement for specific courses –Those candidates who are wishing to get admission in the MBA –Pharmaceutical, should have done their Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences or Science. Candidates who have done Bachelor’s in BAMS, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, B.Sc or have earned Master’s degree are also eligible to for the admission in the aforesaid course.

  • Post Graduate Courses eligibility Those candidates who have done their Master’s in Psychology, Economics and Sociology are also eligible to apply for the exams.

  • Technical Course eligibility – Those candidates who have done their Bachelor’s with B.E/B.Tech or Bio-Medical are also eligible to apply for the exam.

  • Work Experience Eligibility –Those candidates who have experience of working with the Pharmaceutical Company for more than 2 years are also eligible to apply for the exams.

Those candidates who are appearing for the final year exams of his graduation are also eligible to apply for the exams. 

Booking Of Slot for the NMAT 2017, Exam -

After the candidate makes a final submission of his application form and the application fee, the exams conducting authority send an id with username and password on the valid email id of the candidate. By using this login and password the candidate will be able to schedule for the exams as per his suitability. The candidate should book the slot for the exams as per his choice and the availability of it. There is no order of booking of for the slot of the exam. It is done as per the first come first serve basis.


NMAT Exam Admission Process

NMAT 2017 Exam’s can be applied through online mode only. Candidates who are wishing to apply for the NMAT 2017, Exam’s should visit the official website of the GMAC’s NMAT 2017 Exam, online. The candidates should get themselves registered first on the given registration window of the website. In order to get themselves registered candidates should furnish the details about their personal background like name, address, their valid email id etc.  After getting registered on the given registration window candidates are given an access to the Application form, which the candidate is required to fill. The candidate should fill it with his details like name, address, mobile number, educational qualifications etc. He should enlist the programmes for which he wishes to get the scores. He should also upload the scanned copy of his photograph and signature along with the Application form in the given sizes. He should also give details about the Identity Card which he will carry at the examination centre.

NMAT Exam Pattern (Syllabus)

A candidate is eligible to take the exams thrice in a given year. If the candidate feels unsatisfied with his performance in the N-MAT exams, then he can schedule for the Retake exams. But it can be done only for thrice in a given year. In the final merit list the highest marks obtained by the candidate will be counted. This gives opportunity to candidate to show better performance in the exams.

NMAT Exam Important Dates

Admit Card Issuance

The candidate can get the Admit card from the official website of the NMAT. They can download their respective Admit Card and get its print. This can be done only after the candidate has submitted his duly filled application form along with the application fee to the exam’s conducting authority i.e. GMAC.

Note – It should be noted that the candidate should retain the Admit Card of his first NMAT Exam’s if he is opting for the retake of the previous exams.

Further the candidate cannot opt for the same centre of examination which he has opted for during the first take of the NMAT Exams. 

NMAT 2017, Result

On January 17th, 2017, the N-MAT exams result will be declared. The candidate can see their results online on the official website of the N-MAT. The results will be available in the form of percentile score of the candidate.
