Cadence Design Systems Private Limited and Concern India Foundation have jointly conceptualized and implemented the Cadence scholarship programme for meritorious students from the less privileged section of society. The aim of the programme is to support such students so that they can continue their studies and make a better livelihood. The scheme was launched in 2016. It covers those pursuing undergraduate and post-graduate courses in Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, and Pune regions. The scheme offers financial assistance for educational expenses such as course fee, hostel charges, books, etc. It has benefitted more than 200 students admitted in various degree/ professional courses such as MBBS, BDS, B.Tech, Hotel Management, etc. in pursuing their dreams. Cadence Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions before applying for the scholarship:

Candidates must be Indian nationals.
They must be residing and studying in Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, or Pune.
They must be under the lower-income group.
For UG courses - Applicants must have passed the class 12th examination with a minimum of 60% score. Those appearing in the class 12th exam can also apply for the scholarship.
For PG courses - Applicants must have passed graduation (any subject) or appearing in the final year of the programme. There is no minimum percentage requirement.

Benefits under the Scheme

Selected students will receive financial support for education-related expenses such as course fee, hostel fee, books, and conveyance (in exceptional cases).

Documents Required

Recent passport size photograph of the applicant
Duly signed recommendation letters/ character certificates (if applicants have any) from two references who are not related to the applicant and have direct knowledge of their character.

The Cadence Scholarship Programme Application Process

Interested candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:

Visit the official Buddy4Study website.
Search for the Cadence Scholarship.
Click on the Apply Now button on the scholarship page.
Register using the Gmail/ Facebook account/ Email ID/ Mobile Number.
A google application form will appear on the screen. Enter applicant’s name, region, category, contact number, email ID, address, date of birth, parents’ name, family income, etc.
Upload the recent passport size photograph.
Provide the declaration.
Check all the details again carefully and click the Submit button.
A confirmation message will appear on the screen on successful application submission.
