The Sony World Photography Youth Award 2019 is an invention to identify ingenious photographers who are very passionate about photography at a very young age. The last date to enrol your entry is 4th January 2019. The competition is only open for the youth icons that are lying in between the age of 12 to 19 years. For the contest, students can participate individually or in a group.

Aspirants will play a part in Sony World Photography Youth Award 2019, as the competition is made to assist photographers and flourish their skills of capturing the world. The jury of the completion is talented ace photographers who are looking for good composition pictures with a touch of creativity and an artistic approach. The foundation is designed for the candidates to understand the diversity of capturing moments.

There is only 1 winner but the jury will select and shortlists 10 additional images and reward their presenter with variable awards.

Details of the Award:

Youth competition winner- The winner will get a variable reward as follows:

  • Flights and accommodation to awards in London / Sony digital imaging equipment / Included in the exhibition at Somerset House, London.

Shortlist- All the shortlisted images will be digitally exhibition at Somerset House, London / Publication in winners’ book.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Aspiring students of 12 to 19 years of age are eligible to apply for the competition.
  • It’s a global competition, so students are invited from all over the world to participate.

Steps to Apply:

  2. Hit the ‘Register’ tab and enter all the required details like name, country, nationality, email Id and password.
  3. Now, Log in with your registered email id and password.
  4. Filled all the required details and upload your photographs for the competition.
  5. At last, submit your entry and waiting for the results.  

Note: Applicants can participate individually or in a group of maximum 4 to 5 members.

Selection Procedure:

Winner will be selected on the basis of his/her creative thinking and talent.
