Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Yojana (MMJKY) Madhya Pradesh 2021 - Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Shiksha Protsahan Yojana - Eligibility

Applicants are required to adhere to the following eligibility criteria:

• Only the residents of Madhya Pradesh are eligible.
• Applicant’s parents must be registered in the Labour Department of the Madhya Pradesh government.
• Must be enrolled in a UG/ Polytechnic Diploma/ ITI course at a recognised institution/ University.
• Eligibility for Medical Aspirants - Must have obtained admission to a government/ private/ medical or dental college through NEET score.
• Eligibility for Engineering Aspirants - Must have cleared the JEE Main exam with a rank less than 1,50,000.
• Eligibility for Law Aspirants - Must have cleared the CLAT exam and obtained admission to any NLU or Delhi University.

Benefits under Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Yojana 2021

For Medical Students - Full tuition fee waiver for those enrolled in a government/ private college for a medical or dental course.

For Engineering Students - Full fee waiver for those enrolled in a government/ non-government college. ₹ 1.5 lakh or actual course fee (whichever is less) for the private colleges’ students.

For Law Students - Full course fee waiver for the students of National Law Universities.

For other UG or Integrated Programmes - Full tuition fee waiver.

MMJKY Application Process

The application process is as under:

• Visit the official website at scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in.
• Click on the ‘Mukhya Mantri Jankalyan (Shiksha Protsahan Yojana)’ option under the ‘Post Matric Scholarship Schemes.’
• Click on the link for registration.
• The application form will appear on the screen. Fill in all the details correctly.
• Re-check the application form before final submission.

Selection will be done strictly on academic merit.
