It has released the PGP 2019-2020 selection criteria for admissions where the Institute has made changes to the CAT 2018 percentile requirement. It has ultimately reduced the cut-off percentile further to overall 80 percentile with at least 70 sectional percentile for all sections for the candidates belonging to General Category.

Selection Process for IIM-A PGP (Postgraduate Programme)

Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad has a two-step selection process – Step I and Step II. Step I is basically the qualifier round where the students need to crack the CAT examination 2018, scoring the minimum percentile. Those who clear the first round will be called for the second round test. However, it is important that the candidates should have an excellent academic profile. There will be Academic Writing Test and a PI (Personal Interview). The selection will be done based on the performance.
