The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released an official recruiting notification inviting all the interested, eligible candidates for Assistant Professors Post, in the Academic Level 10 of 7th Central Pay Commission. Interested students can visit the official website of IGNOU which is ignou.ac.in to apply for the same. As per the official notification, the application process starts from 18th September 2019 and will conclude till 20th October 2019.

IGNOU Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Required
As per the eligibility requirements of Assistant Professor decided by the University Grants Commission Regulations 2018, one should possess the following:
Education Qualification
The candidate should complete their Bachelors and Masters in the same discipline as any govt. recognized university. Also, the candidate should have scored well in the UGC NET exam.
Age Limit
The maximum age of the participant should not be more than 65 years.
IGNOU 2019 Pay Scale for Assistant Professor Post
The Indira Gandhi National Open University will appoint the right candidates at a pay scale between ₹ 57,700 and ₹ 1,82,400.

- It will prompt you in a new screen, where you need to fill the application form in a specified manner.
- And pay the requested amount to submit the application form by online means.
Apart from the online application form, candidates are required to send the hard copy of the application form along with the self-attested copies of necessary certificates/ documents to the University address (provided-below) before 25th October 2019:
