Established under the Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Charitable Trust in the year 2012, the Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Technical Campus (SRTTC): Faculty of Engineering is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education. The institute works under the Academic & Administrative Control of Vishwakarma Institutes.

Undergraduate engineering programmes in the computer, E&TC, Civil, and Mechanical and Diploma programmes in Civil and Mechanical engineering are offered by the institute. Guest Lectures, workshops, live projects, training, etc. are an integral part of the programmes. Facilities such as canteen, free Wi-Fi, gymnasium, sports ground, library, etc. are available in the college campus for all-round development of students’ skills. Hostel facility is also available for students.

Courses and Fee

The college offers UG and Diploma programmes in Engineering. Refer to the table given below for various courses and their fee structure. The fee is for the candidates who take admission in the course from the first year.

Admission Process

The admission to UG level engineering courses offered by the college is done through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET), which is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra on yearly basis.

After qualifying MHT-CET, candidates have to appear in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) to get admission in the college. Candidates are required to carry the following documents at the time of admission:

  • Original Certificates
  • 3 sets of attested photocopies
  • 4 passport size coloured photographs

List of Original Certificates to be produced at the time of admission

  • DTE allotment letter
  • Scorecard of MHT-CET 2018/JEE 2018
  • Mark sheet – class X and XII
  • Transfer/Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Certificate of Nationality
  • Aadhaar Card (True Copy)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable) and caste validity (Proforma H)
  • Domicile certificate (if applicable)
  • Non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable) with validity up to 31st March 2018
  • Tahsildar Income Certificate
  • Certificates in Proforma A, B, C, D, and F (as applicable)
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Gap certificate
  • Permanent Residential Address Proof such as an attested copy of Ration card/Electricity Bill/License etc.)

Eligibility Criteria

In addition to qualifying the CET, candidates must fulfil the following criteria in order to get admission to UG level engineering programmes

For Maharashtra Candidates

  • Candidates should be an Indian citizen.
  • They should have passed HSC or equivalent level examination with Physics and Mathematics (compulsory subjects) along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects (anyone). The minimum marks in such examination should be 50% (45% for backward classes and PwD)

OR

Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 50% marks (45% for backward classes and PwD)

OR

B.Sc. degree from a recognised university with 50% marks (45% for backward classes and PwD).

For All India Candidates (including J&K Migrants)

  • Candidates should be an Indian citizen.
  • They should have passed HSC or equivalent level examination with Physics and Mathematics (compulsory subjects) along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects (anyone). The minimum marks in such examination should be 50% (45% for backward classes and PwD)

OR

Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 50% marks (45% for backward classes and PwD)

OR

B.Sc. degree from a recognised university with 50% marks (45% for backward classes and PwD).

  • Qualified CET or JEE Main Paper 1.
