The admission to UG level engineering courses offered by the college is done through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET), which is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra on yearly basis.
After qualifying MHT-CET, candidates have to appear in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) to get admission in the college. Candidates are required to carry the following documents at the time of admission:
- Original Certificates
- 3 sets of attested photocopies
- 4 passport size coloured photographs
List of Original Certificates to be produced at the time of admission
- DTE allotment letter
- Scorecard of MHT-CET 2018/JEE 2018
- Mark sheet – class X and XII
- Transfer/Migration Certificate (if applicable)
- Certificate of Nationality
- Aadhaar Card (True Copy)
- Caste certificate (if applicable) and caste validity (Proforma H)
- Domicile certificate (if applicable)
- Non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable) with validity up to 31st March 2018
- Tahsildar Income Certificate
- Certificates in Proforma A, B, C, D, and F (as applicable)
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Gap certificate
- Permanent Residential Address Proof such as an attested copy of Ration card/Electricity Bill/License etc.)
Eligibility Criteria
In addition to qualifying the CET, candidates must fulfil the following criteria in order to get admission to UG level engineering programmes
For Maharashtra Candidates
- Candidates should be an Indian citizen.
- They should have passed HSC or equivalent level examination with Physics and Mathematics (compulsory subjects) along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects (anyone). The minimum marks in such examination should be 50% (45% for backward classes and PwD)
OR
Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 50% marks (45% for backward classes and PwD)
OR
B.Sc. degree from a recognised university with 50% marks (45% for backward classes and PwD).
For All India Candidates (including J&K Migrants)
- Candidates should be an Indian citizen.
- They should have passed HSC or equivalent level examination with Physics and Mathematics (compulsory subjects) along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects (anyone). The minimum marks in such examination should be 50% (45% for backward classes and PwD)
OR
Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 50% marks (45% for backward classes and PwD)
OR
B.Sc. degree from a recognised university with 50% marks (45% for backward classes and PwD).
