TANCET Exam Pattern
The TANCET 2022 exam will be held in Pen and Paper based mode. The exam will be of 2 hours. Each question will be of 1 mark, and there will be a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for each incorrect response. The distribution of questions is as under:

TANCET 2022 Eligibility
TANCET Eligibility criteria vary as per courses. Therefore, candidates are advised to check the conditions as per the courses they are applying for. Here are the details:
Age Limit
The minimum age of the applicants must be 18 years, and there is no maximum age limit.
Educational Qualification
For M.Tech.
Candidates must have any of the following degrees:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant branch with at least 50% (45% for reserved categories) marks or
- B.Tech./ B.E./ B.Arch. or
- B.Pharm. Or
- Master’s degree in relevant branch of Science/ Arts
- 10+3 years of Diploma and Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) or 10+2 and AMIE degree
For M.Tech./ ME/ M.Arch./ M.Plan. - GATE Qualified
- Candidates must have a valid GATE score of 2020, 2021, or 2022 with qualifying marks for an assistantship.
- Those who have qualified GATE are required to apply for TANCET but do not need to write the entrance exam.
- However, GATE Engineer Science (XE) and Life Science (XL) qualified candidates have to appear for the TANCET entrance exam.
For MBA
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved categories) marks in one of the following categories:
- 10+3 years diploma +3 years
- 10+2+3/4/5 years
- B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Arch./ B.Pharm
- 10+3 years Diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE
- 10+2+AMIE
For MCA
- Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics in class 12th or graduation with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category) marks.
Or
- 10+3 years diploma and a certificate from Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE).
- Those applying for TANCET MCA lateral entry must have a Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc. (Computer Science/ Information Technology) or BCA with Mathematics in class 12th or graduation. Candidates must have secured 50% marks in the exam.
For M.Arch.
Candidates must have any of the following degrees:
- Master’s degree in a relevant branch of Science or
- B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Arch
- B.Pharm
- 10+3 years of diploma and Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE)
- 10+2+AMIE
TANCET 2022 Application Process
TANCET 2022 application forms will be released online on the official website. Candidates must fill their applications well in time. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the exam. The application schedule will be announced once the official notification is released.

Steps for filling the TANCET 2022 Application Form
- Visit the official website and click the link for TANCET registration.
- Complete the registration process by providing details such as name, gender, email ID, date of birth, and password.
- After the registration process is complete, log in using your credentials and fill in the remaining application form with details such as personal information, address, academic details, etc.
- Upload the scanned image of the photograph and signature.
- Make the application fee payment through your preferred mode.
- Verify the information carefully.
- Finally, submit the application form and take a print for future reference.

TANCET 2022 Admit Card
TANCET 2022 hall tickets/ admit cards will be released via online mode at the official website. The admit cards will be available in pdf format which can be downloaded using the login credentials. No candidate will be allowed to sit for the exam without an admit card. Along with the admit card, candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof to the examination center. The address of the examination center is mentioned on the hall ticket along with exam timing, registration number, and other details.
If you find any mistakes in the admit card, report the same to the authorities. And, in case the admit card is lost, candidates can get the duplicate one on payment of ₹ 100 via Demand Draft with a written request to:

TANCET 2022 Result
The TANCET 2022 result will be released on the official website. Candidates can check their results using their login credentials. After the result is announced, the TANCET 2022 scorecard will be uploaded to the official website. Candidates can know their marks, sectional marks, percentile score, rank, etc. through the scorecard.
TANCET Cut Off
TANCET cut-off will be released on the official website. Separate cut-offs will be released for different courses and categories. Those who score the qualifying cut-off will be eligible for admission. For those who are eligible for admission through the GATE score, a separate cut-off will be released.

After the release of scorecards, candidates will be called for the counselling process. The call letter for participation in the counselling process will be uploaded.
