UGC NET June Result 2019 - Steps to Download and Validity of Score

The National Testing Agency has declared the UGC NET June Result 2019 on 15th July 2019, Saturday. Candidates who had appeared in the University Grants Commission- National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) June 2019 exam can check their scores through the official NTA site i.e. nta.ac.in.

As per the media reports, this time nearly 51,000 meritorious candidates have qualified for assistant professors, while 4,756 have selected for the Junior Research Fellowships. Aspirants can check their results of UGC NET June 2019 exam by using their login details i.e. application number and date of birth.

Steps to Check the UGC NET June Result 2019

Checking the UGC NET result is a simple procedure and needs the following steps:

  • Visit the official website - https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/
  • Click on the link for UGC NET June 2019 Result at the home-page.
  • Enter your log-in details.
  • The result will appear on your screen.
  • Check out your marks and take a print of the result/scorecard.

Please note that candidates will not be individually intimated about the result so they are required to keep a check on the official website.

Details on the UGC NET Scorecard

Candidates will find the following information on their UGC NET scorecard. If they find any information missing or incorrect, they must contact the exam conducting authority i.e. NTA.

  • Name of the Exam
  • Name of the candidate
  • Roll number of the candidate
  • The Subject of the examination
  • Date and Timings of the examination
  • Marks secured in each Paper
  • Total marks secured
  • Rank secured
  • Sectional and overall percentile
  • Signature of the exam comptroller
  • Stamp of the exam conducting authority

Re-checking/Re-Evaluation of the UGC NET Result

There is no provision of re-checking/re-evaluation of the UGC NET result. So, candidates are advised not to make such requests as they will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Validity of the UGC NET Score

The UGC NET score remains valid for three years for the award of JRF and for Assistant Professor post, there is no validity. It is an eligibility requirement to be full-filled for the post.

UGC NET E-Certificate

All candidates who qualify the UGC NET exam are issued an e-certificate from the University Grants Commission stating that they have successfully qualified the exam.

Candidates are advised to check out the official UGC website for the e-certificate. It is usually uploaded within two to three months from the result declaration.

About UGC NET

The exam is conducted for the award of Junior Research Fellowship and for the post of Assistant Professor in Indian colleges and Universities. Interested post-graduate candidates are eligible to appear for the exam. Till the year 2018 (July session), the exam was conducted by CBSE. However, from the year 2018 (December session) onwards, the exam is being conducted by NTA.
