In a view of COVID-19 outbreak in India, NEET 2020 application form correction will remain open till lockdown ends.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the online application correction window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2020 once again. The online correction procedure will be operational from 14th April 2020 to 03rd May 2020 (up to 5:00 PM). Candidates must visit the official website and check the particulars in their application form. Do the corrections wherever required.
The facility is being provided before the commencement of NEET UG 2020. Candidates can visit the official NTA website, which is nta.ac.in and submit their corrected form by mentioning all the correction in the NEET online application form. In a view of COVID-19 outbreak in India, the authority had already postponed the NEET UG entrance examinations. As per the latest updates, the medical entrance examination is likely to be held in the last week of May 2020, at various centres spread across the country. In order to participating in NEET Correction 2020, make sure all the details in the application form are correct as per your class X certificate.
Fields Available for Correction
The correction can be done in the following fields:
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
- Date of Birth
- Exam city and centre
This is the first time when applicants get an opportunity to change their exam city and centre for NEET 2020 exam. Change/edit all the details on time, as you get an extension to do the NEET application correction process till the lockdown ends in India. Make sure all these details are correct as they will be mentioned on your NEET 2020 scorecard.
Steps to Make Corrections in NEET 2020 Application Form
- Go to the official website - https://ntaneet.nic.in/.
- Click on the link for online application correction.
- Now log-in using your user ID and password.
- Make necessary changes in the application form, save the changes, and click the submit button.
“Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them, the candidates are informed to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as no further chance will be given,” states the official notice.
NEET 2020 Answer Key
The NEET UG 2020 answer key is expected to be released soon at the official website. Candidates will be provided with the facility to raise objections against the answer key on payment of ₹ 1000/- per question. The fee will be refunded if the challenge is found correct. The refund will be done to the same account through which payment has been made. After considering their objections, the final answer key will be updated and released along with the NEET 2020 result.
NEET 2020 Result
Candidates will be able to check their results through the official website using their login ID and password. The result will be released on the basis of the final answer key. Earlier the NEET UG 2020 result is scheduled to be announced on 04th June, however, due to COVID-19 lockdown the dates has been postponed by the National Testing Agency. The new dates of NEET UG 2020 will announce after 03rd May 2020.
