The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to medical and dental courses. Indian Nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Non-Resident Indians (NRI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO) and Foreign Nationals can appear for the medical entrance exam. This year’s exam is scheduled to be conducted on 05 May 2019. Soon after the exam ends, various private coaching institutes release the NEET unofficial answer keys on the Internet. The Agency will release the NEET official answer key on www.nta.ac.in. Here are all the important details related to the NEET answer key 2019.
The NEET 2019 Answer Key will give an opportunity to all the students who will take the test on May 5. They can raise an objection against the answer key if they think the answer is not correct. For this, they must remit an amount of INR 1,000/- per response. If the challenge is accepted, the correct answer will be updated with the final answer key. The candidates will not be intimated individually regarding the acceptance of the challenge.
The NEET 2019 result will be declared on 5th June as per the final answer key (this is prepared after considering students’ challenges). The merit list will be prepared as per the directives of DGHS, MCI, and DCI. Central and State governments can use the NEET results as per their rules for admission to various medical courses.
