NEET 2019 Answer Key – Steps to Challenge Answer Key and Responses

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to medical and dental courses. Indian Nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Non-Resident Indians (NRI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO) and Foreign Nationals can appear for the medical entrance exam. This year’s exam is scheduled to be conducted on 05 May 2019. Soon after the exam ends, various private coaching institutes release the NEET unofficial answer keys on the Internet. The Agency will release the NEET official answer key on www.nta.ac.in. Here are all the important details related to the NEET answer key 2019.

NTA NEET 2019 Answer Key:

The NEET 2019 Answer Key will give an opportunity to all the students who will take the test on May 5. They can raise an objection against the answer key if they think the answer is not correct. For this, they must remit an amount of INR 1,000/- per response. If the challenge is accepted, the correct answer will be updated with the final answer key. The candidates will not be intimated individually regarding the acceptance of the challenge. 

Steps to View NEET 2019 Answer Key -

  • Visit the official NTA NEET website - https://nta.ac.in/
  • Click on the ‘NEET 2019 Answer Key’ link
  • Log-in with your ID and password
  • The answer key will appear

Steps to Challenge NEET Answer Key 2019 -

  • Go to the official website
  • Click on the ‘Raise Objection’ link to challenge the official answer key
  • You will be redirected to the candidate’s log-in portal
  • Log-in with your Id/registration number and password
  • Click on the ‘Key Challenge’ option to challenge the answer key
  • Select your ‘Test Booklet Code’, which is the same as the question paper code.
  • Select the question/questions that you want to challenge
  • Now select the answer/answers, which are correct according to you. You can also provide the explanation for your answer
  • Click on ‘Confirm’ and make payment of INR 1,000/- for each response
  • Print the confirmation slip of payment

NEET 2019 Result:

The NEET 2019 result will be declared on 5th June as per the final answer key (this is prepared after considering students’ challenges). The merit list will be prepared as per the directives of DGHS, MCI, and DCI. Central and State governments can use the NEET results as per their rules for admission to various medical courses.
