There will be 2 sections namely Stream A and Stream B.

Papers in each section

Stream A- Questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture.


Stream B – Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

Yes, there is a scheme of negative marking. For every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted.

Eligibility for Dairy Technology Exams

Age Limit

  • For the General candidate, the age limit should be 17 to 23 years.
  • The reserved category candidates are given 5 years relaxationin the upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

  • A candidate should have a score of50% marks in aggregate in Class12th. The SC/ST/PC candidates should have a minimum scoreof 40% marks in Class 12th.
  • A candidateshould have passed Standard12th with the combination of following subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Math’s, Biology or Agriculture.

For Post Graduate Courses

  • A candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • A candidate should have aBachelor’s degree in Dairy Technology.
  • A General/OBC (NCL) candidate should have a minimum score of 60% marks in aggregate.They are required to have a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate.

Application Process

  • Candidates can get the ICAR AIEEA application form both online and offline.
  • To get the onlineapplication form, a candidate should visit the ICARofficial website.
  • A candidate can get the application form offline by paying in cash to the Registrar of the Agricultural Universities. A candidate can also get the application form by paying Demand Draft to the Syndicate Bankbranches.
  • In the offline mode, a candidate should send the filled in application form with the requisite postage at the following office address –

Mode Of Payment

  • A candidate should pay theapplication fee onlineeither through the Debit Card or Credit Card or through the Bank Challan from Syndicate Bank.
  • A candidate should pay the application fee offlinethrough the bank draft drawn in favour of the ICAR Education Unit, New Delhi.

Reservation of Seats

There will be reservation of seats in all participating institutions in the ICAR AIEEA 2018 Exam.

SC – 15%

ST – 7.5%

OBC – Reservation as per the Central government rule.

UPS – 2%

PC – 3%

Admit Card

Admit cards will be issued to candidates in the 1st week of May, 2018. Candidateswill be provided with duplicate admit card along with the application form. They should fill it with their details, except the roll number and the venue of the exam, which will be filled by the examining authority. Candidates should keep their admit card in the examination center.


Candidates can check their results in the last week of the June. It can be seen on the official website of the ICAR. All India merit list is declared as per that candidates are assigned seats in the participating colleges. The National Talent Scholarship will be given to candidates on the basis of their All India Rank in the merit list. And ICAR –JRF will be given to PG merit holders.
