The Indian Council of Agricultural Research will conduct the ICAR AIEEA UG 2020 exam for admission “to 15% seats (100% seats at NDRI Karnal, RLB CAU Jhansi and Dr.RP CAU Pusa) in Bachelor Degree programmes and Award of National Talent Scholarships in Agriculture and Allied Science (other than Veterinary Science) in accredited Agricultural Universities for academic session 2020-21.

The AIEEA UG exam is administered by ICAR, which is the apex body for guiding, coordinating and managing extension, research and education in agriculture in India, for admission to various undergraduate programmes at Agricultural Universities. The national level examination is organised once a year. By clearing the AIEEA UG exam 2020, students will be able to pursue four-years Bachelor Degree courses –

National Talent Scholarships –

Students seeking admission outside their state of domicile will be considered eligible for “National Talent Scholarship (NTS) of ₹ 2,000/- per month.

AIEEA-UG 2020 Latest Notification – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam date for AIEEA UG 2020 exam. The exam will be conducted on 1st June 2020. The registration will begin from 1st March 2020 at the official website - icar.org.in.

ICAR AIEEA UG 2020 Pattern & Syllabus

The All India Entrance Examination for admission UG 2020 will be conducted in offline (OMR) mode. Applicants will need to complete the exam using black/ blue ballpoint pen only. There will be 180 MCQ questions, carrying 720 marks. The duration of the exam is two and a half hours. The questions will be available in both English and Hindi.

ICAR AIEEA UG 2020 Eligibility

Nationality –

  • Candidates should be Indian nationals

Academic Qualifications –

  • Should have passed 10+2 Senior Secondary Examination of CBSE or any equivalent exam
  • They should not have scored less than 50% marks in aggregate for UPS, OBC (NCL) and General category. Registrants belonging to SC, ST and Physically Challenged must secure 40% marks in aggregate.

Age Limit –

  • Must be 16 years old as on 31st August 2020

ICAR AIEEA UG 2020 Application Process

Candidates who are interested to take up the entrance examination for admission to B. Tech programmes should meet the eligibility requirements as mentioned above before completing the registration process. ICAR will release the AIEEA application form 2020 for UG programmes on 1st March 2020. The entire process will be undertaken online at the official website i.e. www.icar.org.in.

How to Fill in Online ICAR AIEEA-UG Application Form 2020 -

  • Visit the authorised website of ICAR
  • Click on the AIEEA-UG 2020 Registration link
  • Enter information including your complete name, mobile number, email ID, etc.
  • Receive log-in credentials in the registered email ID
  • Log-in and fill the details such as Basic Details, Personal Details, Academic Details, etc.
  • Upload the scanned copies of signature, left-thumb impression and photo
  • Make payment through online using the credit card, debit card, net banking, etc.
  • Select the declaration “I agree to abide by the rules and regulations governing the examination as contained in the Information Bulletin, which I have duly studied and understood thoroughly” and SUBMIT

AIEEA-UG Exam Centres –

ICAR administers the entrance test at 56 centres across the nation. The exact location or name of the exam centre will be notified later on the official website. AIEEA UG Admit Card 2020 –

The e-admit card will be issued on 25th April 2020. Candidates can download the AIEEA UG 2020 hall ticket using the application number and date of birth. The e-admit card displayed on the screen will carry details, such as –

  • Name and address of the candidate
  • Roll number of Aadhaar card or 28-digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID proof or ration card/ passport
  • Date of exam
  • Duration
  • Exam day instructions
  • Exam centre
  • Code of the exam city centre
  • Venue
  • Photo

ICAR AIEEA-UG Result 2019 –

The result will be displayed on the ICAR official website by 15th June 2020. Check the following steps –

  • Go to the ICAR AIEEA website
  • Look for the result link
  • Enter details like application number, date of birth, etc.
  • Hit the ‘Submit’ button
  • The result will be displayed on the screen. Download and take a printout for future reference

AIEEA UG 2019 Counselling -

Candidates who qualified the entrance examination conducted by ICAR can register themselves for the AIEEA 2020 counselling process by logging into the official website. Candidates need to use their application number and date of birth to successfully register their entrance.

To participate in the counselling round students need to follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website and register yourself for counselling round by paying the fee of ₹ 2000 via online mode (Credit/Debit card or Net banking).
  • Login to your account and fill your choices for the institution and click on ‘Save’.

Note: Candidates can apply only for those courses and institutions where they are eligible for admission on the basis of their marks secured in the ICAR AIEEA 2020 Exam.

  • Once they allotted the seat through the counselling they need to report to the reporting centre for documentation process.
  • Participants need to carry all important documents along with a copy of ICAR AIEEA 2020 Counselling Call letter, on the document verification day.

On the day of counselling, the particular institute will verify the original documents. Hence, candidates are required to produce only the original documents –

Along with these necessary documents, one should also carry a counselling call letter which will be downloaded by pursuing these steps:

  • Now, login into the portal by using your application number and password.
  • Then, click on ‘Download Counselling Call Letter’ link.
  • Download the call letter and take a printout for the counselling process.
