ICAR AIEEA PG 2022 Important Dates

The Agency is yet to release the exam schedule of the ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Admission. However, we decide to bring you a tentative schedule that would come in handy to prepare for the examination in advance.

ICAR AIEEA PG 2022 Pattern & Syllabus

AIEEA PG 2022 Exam Pattern

The AIEEA PG 2022 exam will be held in online mode (CBT). The medium of the exam will only be English. Candidates will get 150 minutes to complete 160 questions (150 questions from Section A and 10 questions from Section B). Well, the test-takers must answer all the questions carefully after reading the instructions. Providing incorrect answers will result in a reduction of the total mark. The exam-conducting Body will deduct 1 mark for every wrong answer.

ICAR AIEEA PG 2022 Eligibility

To appear in the ICAR-AIEEA exam for admission to the 2022-23 academic year, candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility requirements. As per the Information Bulletin, “Applying for AIEEA (PG), appearing in the exam and qualifying the same does not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility.”

Nationality –

• Applicants must be Indian nationals.

Academic Requirements –

• Registrants must have completed Bachelor’s Degree.
• Appearing candidates should be eligible for the exam.
• The candidates must have held a Degree from a recognised university in the concerned field under 10+2+4, 10+2+5 (B.V. Sc.&A.H.), 10+6 years degree (B.Sc.Ag.).
• Students who have completed a Bachelor Degree with a 10+2+3 degree programme can apply in only two ICAR-DUs (NDRI Karnal and IARI Pusa).
• Applicants seeking admission in the M.V.Sc programme must hold B.V.Sc &  A.H degree with an internship.

Age Limit –

• Candidates appearing in the AIEEA-PG 2022 exam must be 19 years old as on 31^st August 2022.
• They should not have been born after 01.09.2003.
• “No relaxation is admissible regarding the minimum age limit.”

Reservation Policy –

Remote and Underprivileged States/ Union Territories (UPS): 2%

Physically Challenged (PC): 5%

Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5%

Scheduled Caste (SC): 15%

ICAR AIEEA PG 2022 Application Process

The application process for AIEEA-PG 2022 will tentatively begin in May. The application submission deadline would be in June 2022. The entire process will be done in online mode. Candidates meeting the eligibility prescribed by ICAR must log on to the official website and fill in the online form.

Here are the must-keep things that candidates need to be ready with before filling in the online form –

• Bank account details for payment of fee and for uploading as part of the submission of online form.
• Scanned images of the latest passport-size photograph (10 kb to 200 kb), signature (4 kb to 30 kb) and thumb impression (female-right and male-left, 3 kb to 30 kb,) in JPG/ JPEG format only.
• Address for communication - email address, mobile number, etc.
• Government identity details such as Passport Number/ Bank Account Number/ Aadhaar Number (last 4 digits)/ PAN Number/ Ration Card Number/ Election Card (Epic No.)/ Other valid government IDs.

Take a sneak peek of the steps to apply for the exam online –

• Visit the official website of NTA ICAR.
• Click on the AIEEA-PG 2022 Registration link.
• Enter information such as complete the name of the candidate, email ID, mobile number, etc. to complete the registration
• Use the log-in details received in the registered email ID to sign-in
• Log in and fill in Basic Details, Academic Details, Personal Details, etc.
• The next step is to upload the scanned copies of the signature, left thumb impression and photo
• Make a payment online using net banking, credit card, debit card, etc.
• Select the declaration and click on the SUBMIT button
• Take a printout of the confirmation page for future correspondence

ICAR AIEEA-PG 2022 Application Fee –

Method of Fee Payment –

Here’s a step-by-step guide to remit the application fee –

Through Credit/ Debit Card: If you are using a debit or credit card, make sure you know the validity of the card and only enter the correct details to complete the transaction.

Through Paytm/ UPI: This is one of the easiest and quickest ways to remit the fee.

Through Net Banking: Another safe mode to make the fee payment is through net banking. You should know the login details to complete the transaction.

In case, the application fee payment status is not OK, it means the transaction is declined. Candidates are encouraged to make the payment again until the status shows ‘OK’. (Any amount that is deducted during the process will get refunded to the same account or the concerned payment method within 15 days of the last date of submission of the form.)

Note: Candidates must keep the proof of application fee paid for future reference. After submitting the form, it is mandatory to take a printout of the confirmation page and the hard copy should be sent to the Authority through Registered Post/ Speed Post. As per the official statement, “Application  (Hardcopy)  should  be  sent  through  Speed/Registered  post  only  and  the  applications  sent through  any  other  mode  like  private  courier  service,  fax,  e-mail, etc.,  shall  not  be  entertained.”

ICAR AIEEA PG 2022 Other Details

AIEEA-PG Exam Centres –

The exam conducting body will notify the candidates about the exact location/ name of the test venue based on the DOB and application number available on the official website. “ICAR may change/ shift the examination city centre opted by the candidate to another nearby centre if the number of candidates is more at any city centre.”

AIEEA-PG 2022 Admit Card –

The AIEEA-PG 2022 admit card will be uploaded by the Authority on the authorised ICAR website. Candidates will be able to access it in the first week of May. Download the hall ticket, take a printout and complete the self-attestation before appearing at the exam centre. The AIEEA-PG Information Bulletin maintains, “Candidate may note that without self-attestation of the photo as well as signature and putting thumb impression of the candidate on the e-Admit card, the candidate will not  be allowed to appear in the examination.” However, the admit card must be preserved until the completion of counselling and admission.

AIEEA PG Mock Test 2022 –

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research will release the AIEEA-PG 2022 mock tests on its official before the exam. Practice the mock tests as much as possible to understand the question pattern, difficulty level, etc. To access the tests, candidates must use their log-in credentials.

ICAR AIEEA PG Answer Keys for Challenges

After the successful commencement of the exam, the National Testing Agency will display the Answer Key of the questions on its official website. It will be displayed only for three days. This opportunity helps the candidates to challenge the Answer Key on payment of ₹ 1,000/- per question.

The candidates must understand that the National Testing Agency’s decision on the challenges will be final. The results will be announced accordingly.

AIEEA PG Result 2022 –

Those who appear in the test can visit the ICAR website and see their results. The AIEEA result 2022 will tentatively be available in August 2022.

The Agency will upload the AIEEA PG Result 2022 and scorecard AIEEA (PG) 2022 on its website. Aspirants need to visit the official website and click on the desired links to check their results.

AIEEA PG Counselling 2022 –

Students who will be declared as qualified for counselling must register for online counselling by visiting the official website i.e. icar.org.in.

Speaking of the AIEEA PG counselling 2022, ICAR will begin the process in August 2022.

Follow the steps to participate in the ICAR AIEEA PG counselling process:

• Go to the official website and click on the counselling procedure link.
• Now enter your application number and date of birth in the prompted field.
• In the next step, fill your preferred choices of the courses and institutions.
• Once you filled in your choices, click on ‘Save’ to precede the process.
• After this, applicants need to pay the counselling fee of ₹ 2000 through Credit/ Debit Card or Net Banking mode.

Note: Applicants must note that they can apply for courses and institutes based on their obtainable marks in the exam.

Students who get the seat through the counselling process need to report to the designating center for documentation.
