The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune is one of the reputed medical institutes of Maharashtra, India. It was established in the year 1948 and since the day of establishment, the college worked so hard to create an environment as a knowledge hub in the field of education and research. The college is affiliated with the grounds of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik. The MUHS is a state university which was established in 1998.

Eligibility Criteria for Armed Forces Medical College 2019:

Students who want to take admission in the campus ground of AFMC 2019 are advised to read the entire guidelines of eligibility before applying for the scheme.

Eligibility for MBBS Course

  • The candidate should have passed Class 12th / equivalent in the PCB subjects from a recognized board/ university.
  • The candidate should appear in the NEET 2018 UG exam.
  • The minimum age limit is 17 years.
  • All the applicants need to clear all the exams which are designed on the basis of their hearing, vision, speech, etc.
  • The basic height for girls is 144 cms with a minimum weight of 36 kgs, while the standard height for boys is 157.5 cms with a minimum weight of 47 kgs.

Eligibility for MD/ MS Course

  • The candidate should have done MBBS from a recognized medical college/institution.
  • The candidate should also have completed the minimum internship period of 12 months.

Eligibility for M. Sc Course

  • The candidate should have passed B. Sc / equivalent in the related subject from a recognized board/ university.

How to Apply for AFMC MBBS 2019?

The application for AFMC MBBS 2019 will be made available in the official website of the DGHS website in the month of June 2019. The application fees will be filled through Demand Draft in the name of ‘DGFAMS Admission Fund’, payable at New Delhi.
