
GUJCET Counselling 2020 – Round 2 Registration Begins, Choice Filling and Seat Allotment
Finally! The Admission Committee for Professional Courses, ACPC has released the further schedule for Round 2 of GUJCET 2020 counselling and seat allotment process. The registration process for the second round of counselling has started from 15th October 2020 and the seat allotment result will be out on 04th November 2020. Earlier, the first round of Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) counselling was successfully completed on 07th October 2020. Interested applicants can check the opening and closing ranks for different participating institutes and courses through the first and mock allotment rounds below.
GUJCET 2020 counselling seats are allotted strictly based on merit and preferences of the candidates. Candidates must note that the GUJCET counselling and seat allotment will be completed in two rounds. GUJCET 2020 Counselling Process
The complete counselling process of GUJCET comprises of the following stages:
- Purchase of Information Booklet and PIN from ICICI.
- Fill the GUJCET counselling application form.
- Submit the application form at the GUJCET help centre.
- Choice Filling and Choice Locking
- GUJCET Seat Allotment
- Reporting to the Allotted Institute
Step 1: Purchase of Information Booklet and PIN from ICICI
Visit to the specified ICICI bank branch and purchase the Information Booklet and PIN. The fee of the information booklet is ₹350/- which is non-refundable.
Step 2: Fill GUJCET Counselling Application Form 2020
In order to participate in the counselling of GUJCET candidates have to fill the application form. In the application form personal details, academic details, communication details, etc. are required. Then enter the roll number and generate a password, and keep it safe until the counselling process ends successfully. Then read the declaration and accept it. Click on the “submit” button to submit the application form.
Step 3: Submit the application form at GUJCET Help Centre
After completing the online application procedure, reach to the GUJCET Help Centre along with the copy of filled in the application form and the required documents (Original & Photocopy). The authorities there will verify all the documents and then after document verification candidates will get a registration slip with signature and seal.
Step 4: GUJCET Choice Filling and Choice Locking
Fill the course and college of your preference for admission by logging in to your account. The account login requires the User ID, password and 14 digit PIN. Candidates will be able to add, remove, swap, and move the choices.
After completion of the GUJCET choice filling process, candidates will go for the choice locking. Check all the filled choices and then enter the 14 digit PIN to submit the choices of course and college preference. Click on the “Unlock choices” in order to make any changes in the locked choices.
Step 5: GUJCET Seat Allotment Process
The admission authority will declare the seat allotment result within a few days. After the GUJCET seat allotment result candidates will get to know about the course and college allotted to them for admission. If a candidate wants to accept the seat then he/she has to freeze the seat. After freezing the seat, download the bank challan and make payment of the tuition fee. In order to pay the fee online using net banking/credit card/debit card. If a candidate wants to go for the subsequent round of the counselling then he/she can apply for it at the same time.
Step 6: Reporting to the Allotted College
After making fee payment, candidates can download the admission slip. Report to the allotted college on the given date and time. Carry all the required documents such as admission slip, payment receipt/challan, information letter, etc.
The list of documents required for the verification under GUJCET Counselling process:
- Class X mark sheet
- Class XII mark sheet
- GUJCET result
- School leaving certificate
- Caste certificate
- Category certificate for the unreserved economically weaker section (UEWS)
- Non-creamy layer certificate
- Physically handicapped certificate for PWD candidates
- Certificate of ex-serviceman
- Copy of certificate of in-serviceman
- Copy of certificate issued by the authority
- Photograph of the candidates from other states
- Any other certificate asked by the university
Reserved Seats For GUJCET 2020 Examination
A certain percentage of seats will be reserved under the GUJCET 2020 Reservation Criteria for students belonging to various socially and economically backward groups. All those candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for the GUJCET 2020 reserved seats will be offered admission into various GUJCET 2020 participating colleges. Check the details below:
