The result of UPSC Mains Exams 2016-17, soon to be announced in the second week of February

The UPSC will be announcing soon the result of the Civil Services Mains Exams, 2016-17, tentatively in the second week of February. Earlier the commission has said that the result will be announced in the second week of January, but this has not happened.

The result expecting candidates are advised to frequently check the official website of the commission for the announcement of the result on the aforesaid date. They can visit the to check for the latest exams and results updates. By entering their roll number, name and date of birth, they will be able to see their Mains exams result. The successful candidates in the Mains exams are called for the interview by the commission.

Every year lakhs of candidates appear for the UPSC Civil Services Exams. It consists of three stages –the Preliminary Stage, the Mains stage and the final stage, Interview or Personality round. The UPSC conducts Civil Services Exams on a yearly basis to recruit candidates under Group ‘A’, and Group ‘B’, for various posts including many important posts like IAS (Indian Administrative Services), IPS (Indian Police Service) and IFS (Indian Foreign Services).
