UPSC Civil Services Main Examination 2018 Admit Card Released – Steps to Download

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit cards/call letter for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2018 on 10th September 2018. Candidates who have applied for the UPSC CSE 2018 can download the admit card from the official UPSC website.

Steps to download the Civil Services Main Examination 2018 Admit Card

The Civil Services Main examination is scheduled to be conducted from 28th September to 7th October 2018. The last date to download the admit card is also 7th October 2018. Here are the steps to download the admit card:

  • Go to the official UPSC website –
  • Click on ‘e-Admit Card: Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2018’ under the ‘What’s new’ section.
  • Click on ‘Click Here’ link and again click on ‘Click Here’ link.
  • Read the instruction and click on ‘Yes’ button.
  • You can download the admit card either through the registration ID or roll number.
  • Select any one of the options and fill in the related details.
  • Click ‘Submit’ button.
  • The e-admit card will appear on the screen. Check all the details carefully.
  • Download it and take a print-out.

About UPSC Civil Services Exam

The Civil Services Examination, also known as UPSC IAS exam, is conducted in three stages – Preliminary, Main, and Interview for selecting eligible candidates for administrative posts in Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and other central services. Those who qualify Prelims and called for Main and those who qualify Main are shortlisted for the Interview round. It is estimated that a total of 10,500 candidates will appear in the Main examination.
