Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Admission Test (SAAT) is conducted by the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University every year. SAAT Syllabus 2023
The SAAT 2023 syllabus is available on the official website. Candidates must check the same before starting their exam preparation. The syllabus for all the programmes is different. Candidates can check out the syllabus for courses viz. B.Tech., B.Pharm., B.Sc. Nursing, BHMCT, MBA, MCA, MHM, M.Tech., M.Pharm., BA-LLB, LLM, and other courses.
SAAT Exam 2023 Eligibility
Candidates must check the SAAT 2023 eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The eligibility conditions differ as per different programmes. Here are the details:
For B.Tech./ Dual-degree Engineering Course
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level or equivalent examination with PCM as compulsory subjects. The minimum qualifying marks in the class 12th examination should be 45% (40% for OBC/ SC/ ST category).
- Those who are appearing in the class 12th examination are also eligible to apply.
B.Sc. Agriculture
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks (General and OBC category) and 40% marks (SC/ ST and PH category). The exam must be cleared in PCB/PCM/PCMB subjects.
- The minimum age limit is 17 years
B.Sc. Nursing (Basic)
- Candidates must have completed their 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks aggregate (General category) and 40% marks (OBC/ SC/ ST category).
- Chemistry, Physics, & Biology must be one of the subjects during the senior secondary level.
- The minimum age limit is 17 years
M.Sc. Agriculture
- B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.Sc.(Horticulture) from a recognized state and central university.
- Candidates must have scored a minimum CGPA of 6.5 and a GPA of 7.0 (5.5 and 6.0 for SC/ ST/ PH) in the concerned discipline out of 10 points.
- The minimum age limit is 21 years.
MCA
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for OBC/ SC/ ST category)
- Mathematics must be one of the subjects in graduation.
M.Sc. Biotechnology / Nano Science & Nano Technology / Medicinal & Aromatic Plants / Molecular Biology
- Candidates must have completed their graduation in Science/ Chemistry (Honours) / Physics (Honours) / Mathematics (Honours)/ Veterinary / Engineering & Technology / Medicine (MBBS/BDS)/ Pharmacy / Agriculture or equivalent from any recognized University with a minimum of 50 percent marks (General category) and 45 percent marks (SC/ST/OBC).
M.Sc. (Chemical Biology & Drug Design)
- B.Sc. with Chemistry (Honours) / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / B.Pharm / M.Pharm with at least 50 percent marks (General category) and 45 per cent marks (SC/ ST/ OBC).
SAAT Exam 2023 Application Process
The online application process for SAAT 2023 will continue till April 2023 for Phase 1. Candidates must submit the application forms well before time. Here is the process for application submission.
Steps for SAAT 2023 Application Submission
- Visit the official website at https://www.admission.soa.ac.in/soa-saat-2023.
- Click on the ‘SAAT 2023 Application Form’ button.
- The application form will appear on the screen. Fill in all the details carefully. Candidates are required to provide information related to nationality, name, category, gender, DoB, Mobile number, email ID, address, educational qualification, etc. and upload a recent coloured passport size photograph. The photograph must be in jpg/ jpeg/ png/ gif format and must be less than 200 KB in size.
- Check all the details carefully before submission.
- Submit the details.
- On successful submission of the SAAT application form, an acknowledgement will be sent to your registered mobile number/ email ID.
Application Fee
There is no application fee for the SAAT exam.
SAAT Exam 2023 Other Details
SAAT 2023 Admit Card
- SAAT 2023 admit card/ hall tickets will be made available on the official website.
- The exact date for the release of the admit card is not announced yet.
- Once released, candidates can download the admit cards using their login details.
- The SAAT admit cards will be issued only to those candidates who have submitted their completed application forms before the last date.
- The hall tickets will have details such as the candidate’s name, programme, subject, exam date, time, address of exam centre, etc.
- No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without the hall ticket.
- Candidates must keep the admit card safe till the admission process gets over.
SAAT 2023 Result
- SAAT 2023 results will be released on the official website.
- The University will also release the scorecards along with the result.
- Candidates can check their individual scorecards using their login details.
- The scorecards contain the qualifying status of the candidate based on their performance in the exam.
SAAT 2023 Merit List
After the result declaration, merit lists will also be prepared for different courses. Separate merit lists will be released for separate courses. Category-wise merit lists will also be released.
SAAT 2023 Counselling
- SAAT 2023 counselling process will begin after the release of the merit lists.
- Candidates are required to provide their choices for admission during the counselling process.
- Based on their ranking and seat availability, candidates will be allotted seats.
- On the reporting day, candidates must carry the required documents for completing the verification process.
