NRA CET 2022 - Application Process, Important Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Result

Last Modified on : 23 Apr 2024

From the year 2022, a common eligibility test will be conducted for recruitment at non-gazetted positions. Recently, Union Minister Jitendra Singh has tweeted; “#CabinetDecision to set up National Recruitment Agency (NRA) to conduct Common Eligibility Test (CET) for preliminary selection to various Government vacancies is a revolutionary reform”. Thus, candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-2, Tier-3 exams for Group-B and Group-C (non-technical posts) through the Common Eligibility Test. CET will overtake the recruitment recruitments presently carried out by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), and Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs). For NRA CET, every district in the country will have at least one exam centre. This will enhance the accessibility to candidates from far-flung areas, Divyang and women candidates, and those from financially weaker sections. Thus, the aim is to offer ease of recruitment and level opportunities to more youth. Check out complete information for NRA CET 2022 here.
