Banasthali University Aptitude Test

Banasthali University Aptitude Test is conducted by the renowned Banasthali Vidyapith University for admission to its U.G. and P.G. courses. Banasthali is a women-only university located in the Tonk district of Rajasthan. Thus, only female candidates are eligible to apply for the aptitude test. For the Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2020 (UG and PG courses), new exam dates will be announced soon. Initially, the exam was scheduled on 21st June 2020 but due to the COVID-19 situation, it was postponed.

Banasthali Aptitude Test 2020 Latest Update -

Banasthali University has extended the last date to submit the application forms till 25th July 2020 (without late fee) and 31st October 2020 (with late fee). The new exam dates are yet to be announced.

Physics - Units and Measurement, Kinematics, Work, Energy and Power, Laws of Motion, Gravitation and Satellite, Rotational Motion, Oscillations and Waves, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Heat and Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Heating and Magnetic Effect of Current, Current Electricity, Optics, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Semiconductor Physics, Atomic and Nuclear Physics.

Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2020 Eligibility

For B.Tech. Course

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 level of education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects from a recognised board. The minimum aggregate marks in the qualifying examination must be 60%.
  • For candidates who have completed 10+2 education from Bharati Vidyapith, the minimum aggregate marks are 50%.
  • For SC/ST candidates, the minimum qualifying marks are 40%.
  • For Foreign Nationals and NRI/ NRI sponsored candidates, the admission will be done directly on a merit basis. The minimum aggregate marks in the qualifying examination should be 40%.

For B.Pharm. Course

  • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics (PCB/PCM) subjects from a recognised board. 60% is the minimum aggregate marks.
  • 50% is the minimum aggregate marks for those who have completed 10+2 education from Bharati Vidyapith only.
  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST category, the minimum qualifying marks are 40%.
  • Foreign Nationals and NRI/ NRI sponsored candidates are not required to appear for the Aptitude Test. Direct admission will be done on merit basis. However, such candidates must have secured a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

For B.Des. (Bachelor of Design) Course

  • Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) level examination from any stream with at least 50% marks.

For B.Ed. Course

  • Graduation with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ St category candidates).

For B.Sc. (Biotechnology/ Bioscience) Course

  • Passed 10+2 level education with minimum 55% marks with Biology as a subject for Bioscience and minimum 60% aggregate marks in Math, Physics, and Chemistry for Biotechnology.

For M.Sc. (Biotechnology) Course

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine or Biological/ Pharmacy/ Physical/ Veterinary/ Argiculture/ Fishery Science.

For MBA Course

  • Bachelor degree from a recognised University with minimum aggregate marks of 50%.

For LL.M. Course

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law.

Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2020 Application Process

The application form for the Banasthali Aptitude Test 2020 can be filled through both online and offline mode. Candidates are required to choose from the options and follow the respective steps to complete the process. The application forms must be submitted well before the last date. If candidates are interested in applying for different disciplines of B.Tech. programme, they must fill one application form (preferences for disciplines can be provided while filling the application form). However, for B.Tech. and B.Pharm. programmes, they are required to fill separate forms.
