Banasthali University Aptitude Test is conducted by the renowned Banasthali Vidyapith University for admission to its U.G. and P.G. courses. Banasthali is a women-only university located in the Tonk district of Rajasthan. Thus, only female candidates are eligible to apply for the aptitude test. Based on  the Aptitude Test Score, admission is offered to the following courses:

Physics - Units and Measurement, Kinematics, Work, Energy and Power, Laws of Motion, Gravitation and Satellite, Rotational Motion, Oscillations and Waves, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Heat and Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Heating and Magnetic Effect of Current, Current Electricity, Optics, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Semiconductor Physics, Atomic and Nuclear Physics.

Chemistry - State of Matter, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Solutions, Equilibrium,  Chemical Kinetics, Redox Reactions and Electrochemistry, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, s-block elements (Group-1 and 2 elements), p-block elements (Group-13 to Group 18 elements), d- and f- block elements, coordination compounds, nomenclature,  basic principles of organic chemistry, hydrocarbons, organic compounds containing Oxygen, organic compounds containing Halogens, organic compounds containing Nitrogen, Stereochemistry, Polymers, and Bio-molecules.

Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2020 Eligibility

For B.Tech. Course

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 level of education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects from a recognised board. The minimum aggregate marks in the qualifying examination must be 60%.
  • For candidates who have completed 10+2 education from Bharati Vidyapith, the minimum aggregate marks are 50%.
  • For SC/ST candidates, the minimum qualifying marks are 40%.
  • For Foreign Nationals and NRI/ NRI sponsored candidates, the admission will be done directly on a merit basis. The minimum aggregate marks in the qualifying examination should be 40%.

For B.Pharm. Course

  • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics (PCB/PCM) subjects from a recognised board. 60% is the minimum aggregate marks.
  • 50% is the minimum aggregate marks for those who have completed 10+2 education from Bharati Vidyapith only.
  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST category, the minimum qualifying marks are 40%.
  • Foreign Nationals and NRI/ NRI sponsored candidates are not required to appear for the Aptitude Test. Direct admission will be done on merit basis. However, such candidates must have secured a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2020 Application Process

The application form for the Banasthali Aptitude Test 2020 can be filled through both online and offline mode. Candidates are required to choose from the options and follow the respective steps to complete the process. The application forms must be submitted well before the last date. If candidates are interested in applying for different disciplines of B.Tech. programme, they must fill one application form (preferences for disciplines can be provided while filling the application form). However, for B.Tech. and B.Pharm. programmes, they are required to fill separate forms.

  • Click on the link for the application.
  • Fill the details asked for viz. personal, educational, and other additional information.
  • Check the details carefully before submitting the application.
  • On submission of the application form, an application number will appear on the screen.
  • Note it down and proceed to the application fee payment process.

Offline Mode

Through the offline mode, the application form can be submitted in two ways:

  1. Downloading the form from the official website and sending it along with a DD to the University
  2. Purchasing the application form directly from the University by paying the application fee

Other Details

Banasthali Aptitude Test 2020 - Admit Card

The university will issue the admit card only to the successfully registered candidates. The admit card will be uploaded at the official website in the last week of May 2020. Candidates can download the same using their log-in details. The admit card contains details such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, photograph, signature, date, timing, and venue of the examination, etc. Candidates must carry the admit card to the examination hall for making entry and appearing in the exam.

Banasthali Aptitude Test 2020 - Result/ Merit List

The Banasthali Aptitude Test result will be released at the official website in the third week of June 2020. The result will be released in the form of a merit list which will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the aptitude test and the qualifying examination (10+2). Candidates must check their name and roll number in the merit list.
