The MAH-CET is Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, which is conducted every year by the Directorate of Technical Education of Maharashtra. The exams pave the way for the entry of students in the post graduate programmes of MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM. In Jan, 2018 the notification for the entrance exams of MAH-MBA/MAH-MMS has been announced by the competent authority of Maharashtra which has been empowered under the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015.The applications forms are invited for the admission of students in the Post graduate courses in the government managed University, various University Departments and unaided institutes in the state of Maharashtra.

Eligibility for MAH-CET Exam

Nationality -

The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Educational Qualification -

  • A candidate should have aBachelor’s or equivalent degreewith at least 50% of marks in aggregate in any discipline from recognized University by the UGC or the Association of Indian University.
  • The candidates who belong to backward class/ category or PwD (Person with disability) from the Maharashtra are given relaxation in the aggregate marks. They should are required a score of minimum 45% marks in to become eligible for the exams.
  • The candidates who are appearing in the final years of Graduation are also eligible to appear in the exam.

MAH-CET Exam Application Process

Candidates can apply for the examonline. The registration will begin onJanuary, 2018 and will continue until February, 2018.

How To Apply

  • A candidate should visit the official website of the MAH-CET exam. Maharashtra CET i.e.
  • A candidate should getregistered first. For registration, a candidate should provide his/her personal details like Name, Mobile number, and valid Email id.
  • At this stage, the candidate is given a unique Login ID and Passwordwhich he/she must keep or remember till the completion of the examination process. On this email id, the exam conducting authority will update candidatesabout the exam. If any changes are made in the exam, for instance, in its schedule or the center of the exam, the candidates will be informed about it.
  • Upon registration, the candidatescan access the application form. A candidate should fill all specified columns in the application form.
  • Upload the scanned copies of the Photograph and Signature in the given sizes.
  • Candidates are advised to check their application formbefore the final submissions.
  • Finally, a candidateshould take the print of the applied application form.
  • They should pay the application fee for the exam.

  • It should be noted that Application Fee paid once will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Other Details

Admit Card

Candidates can obtain the admit cards online from the official website of the MAH-CET from February, 2018 onwards. Candidates are required to download their Admit Card by entering details of their Registration number and Date of Birth. They must carry their respective Admit Cards at the examination center.

Result Declaration

The MAH-CET 2018 exam result will be declared on March, 2018.The candidates can check their results on the official website of the MAH-CET. Candidatescan get their results by entering details of their Application id and seat number. Soon after the declaration of the results, a merit list of all successful candidates will be published. On the basis of the merit list candidates are allocated seats in various colleges.

Counselling and Allocation of Seats

Counselling and allocation of seats are done by the CAP (Centralized Admission Process).No personal communication is made to candidates for counselling. Rather,the successful candidates are required to fill the online admission application form indicating their preference for the course and college.

The CAP comprises of three rounds. The third round is conducted candidates onlyfor the Maharashtra candidates. The final allocation of seats will be made on the basis of the candidate’s rank and his/herpreference.
