UGC NET 2018 December Session – Exam Dates Revised, Exam to be held from 18 to 22 December
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the revised scheduled for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December session on the official website of NTA NET. As per the revised schedule, the exam will be conducted consecutively from 18th to 22nd December 2018 in two shifts. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays between 9th and 23rd December.

Further, each shift will have two papers – Paper I and Paper II where paper I will be of 1-hour duration and paper II will of 2 hours duration. The exact date and shift timings along with the examination city and venue will be notified through the admit card.
UGC NET December 2018 Admit Card
The admit card for UGC NET December 2018 session will be available at the official website – www.ntanet.nic.in with effect from 19th November 2018. If you find any discrepancies in the admit card particulars including photographs and signature, inform the exam conducting authority immediately through the Help Line between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM from 19th to 25th November 2018.
In case of discrepancies in the admit card, candidates are required to appear with the same admit card as they have downloaded and the agency will take necessary actions to make corrections in the records.
UGC NET 2018 Admit Card – Important Points
- No admit card will be sent through post to any candidate under any circumstances.
- It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the examination venue. No duplicate admit card will be issued at the examination centre.
- Issuance of admit card doesn’t mean acceptance of eligibility. Eligibility can be scrutinized at any stage of the selection process.
- Do not change any entry in the admit card.
- Keep the admit card in good condition for future references.
Entry to the examination hall will not be allowed after 8:30 AM (for the first shift) and after 1:30 PM (for the second shift).
From December 2018 session onwards, the examination will be conducted by NTA (earlier it was conducted by CBSE). The mode of conducting the examination has also been changed from offline to online.
