A total of ₹82, 000 scholarships are available for students wanting to take admission in undergraduate programmes. Additionally, about 41,000 girls and boys each get the opportunity of receiving it.

Engineering candidates selected under the scheme receive ₹1,000 per month for 3 years and ₹2,000 per month in the fourth year.

Merit Cum Means Scholarship - Ministry of Minority Affairs

The MoMA (Ministry of Minority Affairs), Government of India conducts this scholarship. It is specifically meant for students belonging to minority communities such as Sikhs, Christians, Muslims, Jains, Parsis etc. To be eligible, students must have secured admission in a recognized college or university. Also, the yearly family income of the applicant must be less than ₹2.5 lakhs.

The amount of scholarship is ₹10,000 (₹5,000 for day scholars) per year including the course fee. For those with admission in NIT and IIT, the full course fee is compensated.

Indian Oil Academic Scholarship

The Indian Oil Academic Scholarship is for students who are pursuing full-time courses including Engineering. Students who have successfully secured admission in an identified college or university are eligible for it. Other than that, candidates with an annual family income less than ₹1, 00,000 can also apply. There are a total of 100 seats available under this program.

The scholarship award includes ₹2,000 per month until the completion of the entire engineering course.

VIT University IGNITE Scholarship

This scholarship program is applicable only for students who have successfully taken admission in Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University. VIT is known for its excellent program for engineering students. It is also listed as one of the most reputed Engineering institutes of India.

Their scholarship program covers the tuition fee of the course for 4 years. About 200 students each year get the opportunity to avail the benefits of this program.

Larsen and Toubro (L&T) Built-India Scholarship

This scholarship is for engineering graduates who wish to pursue M.Tech in Construction Technology & Management course from IIT Madras and IIT Delhi. Students with outstanding academic records can easily apply for this program. Students getting selected in this program experience an increase in job openings.

40 engineering graduate students get a chance to avail the scholarship benefits every year. The reward consists of ₹9,000 per month until the completion of the 2-year course.

OP Jindal Engineer and Management Scholarship (OP JEMS)

OPJEMS is for students who possess leadership qualities in becoming future leaders in areas like; entrepreneurial excellence and innovation. Each year, the program awards about 100 students from different engineering and management institutions.

Candidates have to go through an online test to qualify for this scholarship. The amount of scholarship for engineering students is ₹80,000 per annum.

North South Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is suitable for class 12th pass outs who wish to pursue further studies in Engineering, Polytechnic or Medicine. The North South Foundation is based in Illinois, United States of America. Only students who have secured an admission in a government or government-aided institution can apply for it. Also, the annual family income of the applicant must be less than ₹90,000.

The scholarship reward is of ₹25,000 for the completion of the course. Deserving candidates receive this reward on merit-cum-means basis.

Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST)

This scholarship test is for individuals pursuing a degree in professional courses like Medical, Science, and Engineering. The students must be studying in an Indian college or University to be eligible for this program. Suitable candidates are short-listed based on their performance in an online test conducted by the NEST team every year.

More than 10 scholarships worth ₹25,000-₹50,000 are available in this program. The exam takes place in 63 major cities across India.

Adobe India Women-in-Technology Scholarship

The Adobe India Women-in-Technology Scholarship focuses on identifying remarkable female students in the field of technology.  It promotes gender quality in the science and engineering fields by encouraging girls to take up computing and technology courses. Aditya Birla Scholarship

The Aditya Birla Group conducts this scholarship program for students pursuing educational courses from institutes like; IITs, IIMs, BITS Pilani and Law colleges of India. Students are selected on the basis of their academic excellence as well as their co-curricular activities. After getting short-listed, they need to go through the interview round to qualify for final selection.
