It is specifically meant for students belonging to minority communities such as Sikhs, Christians, Muslims, Jains, Parsis etc. To be eligible, students must have secured admission in a recognized college or university. Also, the yearly family income of the applicant must be less than ₹2.5 lakhs.

The amount of scholarship is ₹10,000 (₹5,000 for day scholars) per year including the course fee. For those with admission in NIT and IIT, the full course fee is compensated.

Indian Oil Academic Scholarship

The Indian Oil Academic Scholarship is for students who are pursuing full-time courses including Engineering. Students who have successfully secured admission in an identified college or university are eligible for it. Other than that, candidates with an annual family income less than ₹1, 00,000 can also apply. There are a total of 100 seats available under this program.
