Delhi University Modifies 2019-20 Academic Calendar for Exams and Admissions

The University of Delhi, DU has made some changes and modifications in the academic calendar for the 2019-20 session. As per the modification, the official says, “In view of the coronavirus pandemic that has led to a nationwide lockdown till 03rd May, DU has pushed the date for dispersal of even semester classes for several courses to 15^th May.” Earlier the classes were scheduled to be dispersed on 28^th April, which has now been extended to the new date (15^th May 2020).

Changes Made In DU Academic Calendar 2019-20

As per the released academic calendar, the classes for the even semesters had begun on 01^st and the practical exam would commence from 28^th April 2020 after the dispersal of classes. The theory exam was scheduled to be held for 11^th May 2020, which has been pushed further, due to the modification in the calendar. The revised dates of the same will be notified in the due course of time at the official website.

Meanwhile, the University of Delhi had also conducted a webinar on Covid-19 on Tuesday 28^th April 2020 for visually impaired students. The motive to launch this webinar is to help them in dealing with the problems they are facing due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Based on the webinar, titled as ‘Covid-19 and the Challenges of the Visually Impaired’, DU plans to prepare a policy document relating to interventions required for the visually impaired students, to be circulated in public domain and for implementation.

Earlier on 22^nd April, DU launched its May-June end term semester exams application forms at the official website. Interested candidates can fill DU May-June Semester Exam 2020 application form till 15^th May by using the right steps.
