CTET 2019 Online Application Correction Window Extended - Make Changes till 7th April

The last date to make modifications/corrections in the application form for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 has been extended. Registered candidates can make changes in their applications till 7th April 2019 (upto 11:59 PM) through the official website - ctet.nic.in - using their log-in credentials.

Previously, the last date to make corrections in application forms was 1st April 2019.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the application correction window for the exam on 25th March 2019.

CTET 2019 Application Correction Process

  • Visit the CTET website.
  • Click on the ‘Correction in Application Form for CTET July 2019’ button on the home-page.
  • Enter your application number and password under the ‘ONLY REGISTERED CANDIDATES SIGN IN’ section.
  • Your application form will appear on the screen. Check all the details carefully and correct the particulars (if required).
  • Make sure you check all the details carefully before final submission of the application form.

“In case confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fees, the candidate should approach the Joint Secretary (CTET), CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. from 25-03-2019 (Monday) to 07-04-2019 (Sunday) along with proof of payment of fee i.e. candidate copy of E-Challan, if payment made through E-Challan,” reads the official notice.

Please note the important points as stated in the official notification,

“This facility will be provided only once.”

“Fee once remitted shall not be refunded or adjusted for the future test under any circumstances.”

“No change will be accepted through offline mode i.e. through fax/application or by email etc. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.”

CTET 2019 Correction Particulars

Changes are Permissible in the following particulars:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Father and mother name
  • Date of Birth
  • Category
  • Differently abled category
  • Paper opted
  • Subject of Paper II
  • Language I and/or II opted
  • First choice of centre
  • Address of correspondence
  • Name of college/University from where the qualifying degree is obtained

CTET 2019 Exam Date

The CTET 2019 (12th edition exam) is scheduled to be conducted on 7th July 2019 (Sunday). The admit card for the exam will be released online two or three weeks before the exam. Candidates must keep a check on the official website for the same.
