CTET Exam 2018 Result Out – Download Scorecard, Check Eligibility Certificate

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the result for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 on 4th January 2019. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check the result through their roll number.

Candidates can check the result through the following steps:

  • Go to the official CTET website - https://ctet.nic.in.
  • Click on the ‘CTET Result 2018’ button on the home-page.
  • You will be redirected to CBSE results official page.
  • Click on ‘Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) - 2018’ link.
  • Enter your roll number and click the ‘Submit’ button.
  • Your result will appear on the screen; check it.
  • Download and take a print out of the result.

If the website or result page takes time to load, don’t panic. It happens because of heavy traffic on the site. You can wait for some time and try again later to check your result. You will find your roll number on your CTET 2018 admit card.

Details of CTET Result

When the result will appear, candidates will see the following details:

  • Candidate’s Name and Roll Number
  • Mother’s/ Father’s/ Husband’s Name
  • Category
  • Subject Name
  • Paper Name in which Candidate appeared
  • Marks Obtained in Each Subject
  • Total marks obtained in CTET Paper
  • Overall Percentage of marks.

CTET Eligibility Certificate

Marks statement will be issued to the candidates who have appeared for the CTET exam. CTET eligibility certificate will be issued to those candidates who secure 60% and above marks in the exam.

Validity of CTET Certificate

The CTET certificate remains valid for appointment as a teacher in KVs (Kendriya Vidyalayas), NVs (Navodaya Vidyalayas), Central Tibetan Schools, etc. for seven years (from the date of result declaration) for all categories.

The number of attempts is unlimited for CTET exam. Candidates who have qualified the exam can also appear for it again with an aim to improve his/her score.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted for B.Ed. graduates who are interested in teaching jobs at schools under the central government, state government, and administration of Union Territories. The CTET 2018 examination was the 11th edition of the exam and was conducted on 9th December 2018.
