CBSE Has Made A Few Changes In The Pattern Of NEET Exam 2018

The CBSE is about to conduct the NEET exam 2018 on May 10. The official update is still awaited.

11 December 2017: The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE is probably held the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET on 10th May 2018. They have made a few changes in the exam pattern for the coming year.

The online application process for NEET exam 2018 will begin from January 2018.

Changes for NEET 2018 exam Process:

  • Supreme Court has extended the age limit for NEET exam. Now the students above 25 are allowed to appear on the examination.
  • There will be same question paper for all the states of India. Mr Prakash Javedkar, the Union Human Resource Development Minister informed that all the vernacular question paper will be the translation of the main English paper. "The vernacular question papers for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) -- the all-India entrance examination for medical colleges -- will just be a translation of the question paper in English," he said this according to a news report.
  • The NEET exam will be conducted in six additional languages as per the statement of Union Health Ministry. The languages are Gujrati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Telegu and Tamil along with conventional English and Hindi.
  • There is no major change in paper pattern. The only change is that the exam paper will be consisting of 180 objective type questions on Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
