Supreme Court orders to remove NEET Age limit

Examsplanner March 31st,2017: The apex court in its latest judgment has removed the age bar for the NEET 2017 entrance exam. Now the candidate above 25 years of age will also be eligible to appear for the exam. Earlier an upper age cap of 25 years was put, which has debarred many aspirants from appearing in the NEET exam. After the latest judgment of the Supreme Court now candidates will become eligible to appear for the NEET 2017 exam.

For candidates above 25 years of age, CBSE has made application form online available. Candidates can apply for the exam online. They can get the application form from the online portal of CBSE. The application form can be availed from April 1st, 2017 till April 5th, 2017. There will be no further extension in the last date for filling the application form.

General category candidate who is born on or before May 7, 1992, are eligible to apply for the exam. Those candidates who belong to the reserved category of SC/ST/OBC should be born on before May 7, 1987.

The NEET 2017 Exam is scheduled to be held on May 7, 2017.
