The medical entrance exam (NEET 2020) will be now held on 13th September 2020. The online application process was performed from 2nd December 2019 and the last date for application submission was 06th January 2020. The exam is conducted for MBBS/ BDS admissions across the country.

Question 1: What is the validity of NEET scorecard?

NEET scorecard will be valid for admission to the current academic session only. NEET 2020 result cannot be carried forward for admission to 2021-22 academic session.


Question 2: How is the NEET percentile score calculated?

The NEET percentile score is calculated using the formula: 100 x Number of candidates appeared with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate / Total number of the candidates appeared in the exam.


Question 3: What If I lost my NEET scorecard? Where can I get a duplicate?

Candidates can download the NEET scorecard again from the official website if they misplace it.


Question 4: When can we download the admit cards and how?

You can download the NEET 2020 admit card from the 14 days prior of the exam, as the exam will be held on 13th September 2020.  The admit cards can be download through the official website - ntaneet.nic.in using login credentials.


Question 5: When will be the NEET 2020 result announced?

The NEET 2020 result is going to live on 16th October 2020. Candidates will be able to check their NEET result by logging into their registered accounts.


Question 6: When will the NEET 2020 Exam be conducted?

The exam will be held on 13th September 2020 earlier it was 26th July 2020, but due to safety concerns HRD ministry postponed it once again.


Question 7: When will the application form be available for the NEET Exam 2020?

Students can avail the application form from 2nd December 2019 to 06th January 2020 for NEET 2020 exam.


Question 8: What is the application fee for the exam?

The application fee for the general and OBC candidates is INR 1400/-. For the SC/ST/PH candidates, it is INR 750/-.


Question 9: What should be the educational qualification for the exam?

A candidate should have done the 12th with the combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology from any recognised University or board.


Question 10: What should be the minimum aggregate marks to become eligible for the exam?

A general category candidate should have scored 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in class 12th. Those candidates belonging to reserved category SC/ST/OBC should have scored at least 40% aggregate marks and the PH category candidates of the general class are required to score 45% aggregate marks.


Question 11: What is the mode of NEET Exam 2020?

NEET 2020 will be conducted in the Pen-and-Paper based mode.


Question 12: What are the total marks of the exam?

The exam is conducted for a total of 720 marks.


Question 13: How many questions are there in the NEET Exam 2020?

There are 180 questions in the exam.


Question 14: If there will be a revision of the exam syllabus for NEET Exam 2020?

As of now, there is no update on syllabus revision. So, the syllabus for the exam will remain the same. It is revised by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Yes, the Overseas Citizens of India are eligible to apply for the exam
