MJPRU Exam

Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, established in 1975 as an affiliating University, offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various streams such as Science, Commerce, Arts, Education, etc. Admission to most of the courses is done based on marks secured in the qualifying examination. A merit list is prepared based on marks secured by the candidate in their qualifying exam, and counselling is done for the available seats. Candidates are required to fill the admission form online through the official website. However, for some courses, the University conducts an entrance examination. MJPRU Exam 2021 Pattern & Syllabus

MJPRU entrance exam is conducted through pen-and-paper based mode. Here is the exam pattern for all the courses covered under the entrance exam:

B.Sc Nursing

Exam Pattern

B.Sc. Nursing is a 4 years course, and admission to the course will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. The entrance exam will comprise 100 Multiple Choice Questions from Chemistry, Physics, Biology, English, and General Knowledge sections (20 questions in each section). 1 mark will be awarded for every correct response. There is no provision for negative marking. The test will be of two hours duration.

  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English of the class 12th level.

B.El.Ed.

Exam Pattern

B.El.Ed. is a 4 years course. The entrance test for the exam consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions in both Hindi and English languages. Questions will be based on General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Teaching Aptitude, and Subject Competence. 1 mark will be given for the correct answer, and no mark will be deducted for an incorrect one. The test duration will be two hours.

B.P.Ed.

Exam Pattern

100 Multiple Choice Questions are to be attempted in 1-hour duration. 1 mark will be allotted for every right response. The questions will be of Multiple Choice Type. Tests of sports proficiency and physical fitness will also be conducted after the entrance test. Each test will be of 50 marks each.

Syllabus

Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Basic Health Education, Fundamentals of Physical Education, Knowledge of Games Rules, Basic Anatomy and Physiology, Sports Psychology and Sociology, and History of Sports.

LLM

Exam Pattern

200 Objective Type questions will be asked. Each question will be of 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.

Syllabus

Jurisprudence, Law of Torts & Crimes, Law of Contract, Constitutional Law, International Law, and Present Day (Law).

M.Sc.

Exam Pattern

M.Sc. Entrance Test will be conducted for different subjects such as Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Industrial Chemistry, and Environmental Science. 100 Multiple Choice Questions are to be attempted in 2 hours duration.

Syllabus

Candidates have to follow the syllabus of the B.Sc. course (as per the Rohilkhand University) for the subject preferred for the M.Sc. course. Check out complete details on the official website.

M.Ed.

Exam Pattern

200 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in the entrance exam. 4 marks will be awarded to every correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for the incorrect response.

Syllabus

General knowledge, Current Affairs, Teaching Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Philosophical, Educational Technology, Emerging Problems of Indian Education System, and Psychological and Sociological Foundations of Education.

M.Phil. History

Exam Pattern

50 questions of Multiple Choice Type are to be attempted in 1-hour duration. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answer.

M.Phil. Economics

Exam Pattern

The entrance test will be of 1-hour duration where candidates are to attempt 50 Multiple Choice Questions. No negative marking system.

Passed 10+2 (PCB) examination with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Students appearing in 10+2 can also apply subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria at the time of counselling.

Passed higher secondary examination (10+2) with minimum 50% marks. Candidates appearing the qualifying exam can also apply for admission subject to attaining the eligibility at the time of counselling

MJPRU Exam 2021 Application Process

Candidates can apply for the MJPRU entrance exam 2021 after the release of admission notification. The exam notification will release in April 2021 for different courses. Candidates are advised to apply within the specified time only through the official website. The dates for the application process will be different for different courses. Here are the steps to apply for the exam:

Steps to Fill the MJPRU Exam Online Application Form

  • Visit the official website of the university - www.mjpru.ac.in. You can also visit the www.mjpruonline.ac.in for online registration.
  • Click on the Online Admission 2021-2022 link.
  • Click on the relevant tab for UG or PG registration.
  • Complete the form by providing details such as the candidate’s name, parent’s name, DOB, Gender, Category, Domicile, Education Qualification details, Aadhar number, email id, etc.
  • Upload the required documents such as Photograph and Signature. You can save the information and log in again to complete the form or continue with fee payment. Keep the registration number and password safe for completing the form.
  • After successful payment of the application fee, take a print out of the registration form.

Other Details

MJPRU Entrance Exam 2021 Admit Card

The MJPRU exam 2021 admit card will be uploaded on the official website two weeks before the entrance exam. Candidates who have applied for the exam can download the same using their log-in credentials. Please note that no admit card will be sent to any individual through post under any circumstances.

MJPRU Entrance Exam 2021 Result

The MJPRU exam 2021 result will be tentatively released in the month of June. The result is made available on the University’s official website. Information regarding the result is also published in the Local News Papers. Candidates must keep a check on the official website for result related updates.

MJPRU 2021 Admission Counselling

After the result declaration, the counselling session will be held. Information related to counselling will be uploaded on the official website one week before the counselling. No counselling information will be shared through the post with any candidate. Candidates will be allotted seats in different colleges under the university as per their rank in the merit list.
