Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi is considered one of the prominent universities in India. Admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate level courses offered by the University is done through an entrance exam conducted yearly. From the year 2021, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the JNU Entrance Examination (JNUEE). The agency will release the application forms for the examination soon. JNUEE Admission 2022 Updates – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JNUEE 2022 application form for both UG and PG Courses.

JNUEE 2022 Courses: The Jawaharlal Nehru University offers 37 programs for brilliant students. JNUEE Exam Pattern 2022

NTA will conduct the exam in online mode where both objective and subjective type questions will be asked. The structure of the question paper will be different for different courses. Here is the general scheme for the exam.

JNU Admissions 2022 Eligibility

Interested candidates are advised to check and qualify for the eligibility mentioned for the particular course.  Here are the details:

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for B.A. (Hons.) program is 17 years as of 1st October 2022. There is no age limit for other courses.

Educational Qualification:

Basic eligibility details 

The minimum eligibility for the postgraduate program will be a degree of graduation from a UGC-recognized university.

MA in Arabic,  Persian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese & French

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks. Also, he/she must have sufficient proficiency in the concerned language.

M. Sc in Life Sciences

Candidate should have completed his/her bachelor's degree in B. Tech or B.Sc. or equivalent in Biological, Physical or Agricultural Sciences or Biotechnology with at least 55% marks.

MA in Economics

Applicant must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks and should have knowledge of Class 12th mathematics.

MCA

Applicant must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% marks in any discipline with a good knowledge of mathematics.

M. Tech in Computer Science and Technology

Candidate should have completed his/her bachelors in a related subject with at least 55% of marks.

Post-graduation holders of AYUSH-related subjects are also eligible to apply.

M. Tech in Statistical Computing

Applicant must hold a bachelor's degree in the related subject or have a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Operational Research, and Statistics or in any branch of Science with at least 55% marks.

JNU Admissions 2022 Application Process

The JNU Admission 2022 application process has started on the official website. Candidates are allowed to fill out the online application form for JNUEE 2022 till the last date. Students need to fill out the application form with all the correct details. Before starting to fill out the application form, candidates must have to read all the guidelines and instructions very carefully. The online application form will be available from the official website of the NTA JNU exam.

  • The applications are invited via online mode only.
  • Students get an opportunity to apply up to a maximum of three fields of their choice for examination.

Examination Fee Details:

Students can make the payment for Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Test 2022 only via online mode. Payment will be made only through debit cards, credit cards, and net banking.

JNU Admissions 2022 Other Details

JNU Admission 2022 Admit Card:

JNUEE 2022 admit card will be released on the official website. Candidates who have successfully submitted their application form for JNU admissions will be able to download their JNUEE admit card from the official website of the exam using their login details. It is mandatory for the applicants to carry a copy of the admit card to the examination hall. Without admit card no entry shall be given to the candidates.

Apart from the admit card, candidates also need to carry a copy of their latest passport size photograph on JNUEE exam day. Along with the admit card, candidates will also have to download a self-declaration form, which is also required to be carried to the exam center.

JNU Admit Card 2022 – Steps To Download

The National Testing Agency will release the JNUEE Admit Card 2022 at jnuexams.nta.nic.in. Candidates can easily obtain JNU admit card 2022 download link from this page. The admit card will have the details related to the exam venue, date, timing, etc.

Here are the steps to download your Admit Card:

  • Visit the official website of the JNUEE exam.
  • Click on the ‘Admit Card’ tab and enter your registration number and password.
  • Now, read and download a copy of your admit card for future use.

JNU Admission 2022 Answer Key

The exam authority will publish the JNU Entrance Exam 2022 provisional answer key on the official exam portal run by NTA. Candidates can obtain their preliminary JNUEE 2022 answer key by using their login credentials. In addition, they get an opportunity to submit challenges against the same. The window to raise challenges remains open for candidates for a long period. Candidates who appeared for JNUEE 2022 Exam in CBT mode can log onto the website to raise challenges or objections against the answer key by paying the requisite processing fee of ₹ 1000/-  per answer challenged. The fee is to be paid using digital means like Debit Card/Credit Card and Net Banking.

  • You will be redirected to a new page with two links.
  • Select the link available to log onto the portal.
  • Input the required details, verify them and submit them.
  • Your JNUEE 2022 answer key and question paper links will be displayed.
  • Download the answer key and use it to verify your answers.

JNU Admission 2022 Results:

The results of JNUEE 2022 will be announced on the official website. Applicants can check their results by logging in to their profiles. To check the results, students need to enter their login details which include the registration number, school of choice, and program details. The result will be available in the form of a scorecard.

Merit List for JNUEE 2022:

The merit list of JNUEE 2022 will be declared after NTA announces the results. The list will mention the name of the candidates along with their scores. All the selected candidates will have to attend further counselling processes to secure their position.

Counselling Process 2022:

The JNU Admission 2022 counselling process will be conducted online. The university will start the process for those candidates who have cleared the entrance examination. Eligible aspirants can apply for admission according to their obtained marks and merit scores. Students have to pay the counselling fee and confirm their seats at the time of registration.
