Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi is considered one of the prominent universities in India. Once in a year, JNU conducts its entrance level examination called JNUEE 2019 for the student who have an ambition to take admission in various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs offered by the university. Again, the prestigious institution of higher education released the notice of exam dates for JNU Admission 2019 session. The examination will be conducted from December 27 to 30, 2018. JNU Admission 2019 Updates: The University will conduct JNUEE 2019 examination for 37 postgraduates programs for approx 1065 seats. The application forms for JNU Admission 2019 will be made available within the coming weeks by the university. As per JNUEE 2019, the examination will be organized in Offline mode only. All the qualified candidates will get admission on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination. Also, this time the cutoff and merit list will be available online for the brilliant students. Students have to fill and submit the application form before the last date.

JNU Admissions 2019 Eligibility

The university offers different eligibility criteria for all postgraduate programs. Interested candidates are advised to check and qualify the eligibility mentioned for the particular course.  Here are the details:

Educational Qualification:

Basic eligibility details 

The minimum eligibility for the postgraduate program will be a degree of graduation from a UGC recognized university.

MA in Arabic,  Persian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese & French

Candidate must have a bachelor degree or equivalent in any stream with minimum 45% marks. Also he/she must have sufficient proficiency in the concerned language.

M. Sc in Life Sciences

Candidate should have completed his/her bachelor degree in B. Tech or B.Sc. or equivalent in Biological, Physical or Agricultural Sciences or Biotechnology with at least 55% marks.

MA in Economics

Applicant must hold a bachelor degree or equivalent in any stream with minimum 50% marks and should have knowledge of Class 12th mathematics.

MCA

Applicant must hold a bachelor degree with minimum 55% marks in any discipline with a good knowledge of mathematics.

M. Tech in Computer Science and Technology

Candidate should have completed his/her bachelors in a related subject with at least 55% of marks.

Post-graduation holders of AYUSH related subjects are also eligible to apply.

M. Tech in Statistical Computing

Applicant must hold a bachelor degree in the related subject or have Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Operational Research, and Statistics or in any branch of Science with at least 55% marks. 


JNU Admissions 2019 Application Process

The JNU Admission 2019 application process will be in progress and started soon. After the release of official notification, candidates are allowed to fill the online application form for JNUEE 2019. Students need to fill the application form with all the correct details. Before start filling the application form, candidates must have to read all the guidelines and instruction very carefully. The online application form will be available from the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

  • The applications are invited via online mode only.
  • Students get an opportunity to apply up to a maximum of three fields of their choices for examination.

JNU Admission 2019 Admit Card:

The JNUEE 2019 admit card will be scheduled to release in the month of December 2018. Students  can download the admit card  from the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University. It is mandatory for the applicants to carry a copy of your admit card along with you at the examination hall. Without admit card no entry shall be given to the candidates.

Admit Card 2019:

The admit card of JNUEE 2019 will be made available in the month of December through online mode only.

  • Click on the ‘Admit Card’ tab and enter your registration number and password.

JNU Admission 2019 Results:

The results of JNUEE 2019 will be announced in the month of February 2019. Applicants can check their result through online medium by logging in to the official website. The results will be announced for both viva-voice papers and non-viva-voice papers. To check the results students need to enter their login details which include the registration number, school of choice, and program details.

Merit List for JNUEE 2019:

The merit list of JNUEE 2019 will be declared after the results are announced by the University in the month of February 2019. The list will mention the name of the candidates along with their scores. All the selected candidates will have to attend further counseling process to secure their position.

Counseling Process 2019:

The JNU Admission 2019 counseling process will be conducted in the month of July 2019. The university will start the process for those candidates who have cleared the entrance examination. Eligible aspirants can apply for the admission according to their obtain marks and merit scores. Students have to pay the counseling fee and allot their seat at the time of registration.
