ICSI CS Executive

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will conduct CS Executive 2020 on 06th July 2020. The Institute has been established to administer and develop the profession of CS – Company Secretaries in India. Candidates willing to appear in the exam must meet the ICSI CS Executive 2020 eligibility conditions. This is the second stage of all three phases of the ICSI CS programme 2020. Read on to find out the important dates, eligibility, exam pattern and other key details about the entrance examination.

ICSI CS Executive 2020 Latest Notification – ICSI has released a new notification for merging the June and December 2020 session exam. The exam will now commence from 21st December 2020.

The notification reads; “The ICSE had postponed the Company Secretaries June 2020 session Examinations for Foundation Programme, Executive Programme (Old and New Syllabus), Professional Programme (Old and New Syllabus) and Post Membership Qualification (PMQ) course examinations (hereinafter referred as ‘ICSI Examinations’) scheduled to be held from 1st-10th June 2020, due to Pandemic Covid-19, was rescheduled to 6th-16th July 2020 and further rescheduled to 18th-28th august, 2020.”

ICSI CS Executive 2020 Important Dates

ICSI has merged both the June and December session exams. The exams will commence from 21st December 2020. Those who have filled the application forms for June session are not required to fill the forms again. However, they can make changes in the examination center. The detailed schedule is as under:

ICSI CS Executive 2020 Pattern & Syllabus

The exam will be conducted in offline mode. The second phase of Company Secretary Examination will be conducted for 100 marks. There will partly be subjective and partly be objective questions. The CS Executive programme has 8 papers in two modules (existing 7 papers).

ICSI CS Executive Exam 2020 Syllabus

The syllabus for Company Secretary Executive programme comprises of 8 papers. Students must go through these papers and get their concepts clear before appearing in the test. The papers are –

ICSI CS Executive 2020 Eligibility

Some of the important eligibility conditions that a CS aspirant must meet -

Educational Qualification -

  • He must have cleared ICSI CS Foundation Programme
  • Must have done CPT of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
  • Arts, Commerce and Science (excluding Fine Arts)
  • Postgraduate students can also apply
  • First-year appearing candidates can appear

Age Limit –

  • CS aspirants should be, at least, 17 years of age.

ICSI CS Executive 2020 Application Process

To register for the CS Executive programme, aspirants must register themselves with the Board, i.e. the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. The CS Executive registration 2020 is to be completed at www.icsi.edu. Check the steps below to complete the ICSI CS Executive 2020 application process in a hassle-free manner.

  • Visit the official website of ICSI.
  • Click on the tab ‘Online Services
  • Select the link ‘Foundation/ Executive Registration
  • Proceed to Registration’ after making sure the candidates have all the following documents ready - photograph of the candidate, DOB certificate (10th pass certificate), signature, roll number, category certificate (other than general), qualifying certificates (12th pass certificate for foundation) and identity proof (ration card/ Aadhaar card/ pan card/ driving license/ passport)

  • At this stage, candidates need to provide details for the mentioned tabs (if they are first-time users), ‘basic details’, ‘education details’, ‘source of information’, ‘document details’, ‘preview’ and ‘payment’

Note: Only after successful payment, the registration process will be done. Applicants will be intimated through SMS and email. The Institute will verify the documents and then approve the application if everything is fine.

CS Executive Programme 2020 (June) Download ID Card/ Registration Letter

  • Select ‘Executive Programme’ on the official website
  • Click on the ‘Executive Student Login’
  • On the next page, candidates have to use their ‘Executive Registration Number’ and ‘Password’ (The registration number is the user name)
  • ID card/ registration letter now available to download

How to Check Study Material Dispatch Status?

Aspirants who have got their applications approved will be able to check the study material dispatch status through the following steps –

  • Access the ‘Online Service’ tab
  • Log-in using the credentials (already discussed above)
  • The dispatched parcel details now can be seen
  • In case of any discrepancy, candidates can select the ‘Complaint’ button after making selection from the grid

CS Executive 2020 Admit Card –

The admit card for the CS Executive exam 20120 will be issued online prior to the commencement of the examination. To download the CS Executive admit card 2020 applicants must use the 17-digit registration number after accessing the ‘Get Admit Card’ link. Check for any discrepancy, download the same and get a printout of it.

CS Executive 2020 Result –

To check the ICSI CS Executive 2020 result candidates have to keep their roll number ready. The result will be available in the form a merit list. The steps are quite easy – students need to access the authorised website of ICSI (already mentioned above), select the result link and enter the Roll Number. Now ‘Submit’. That’s it! Download the PDF file of the merit list.
