Bank of Baroda, a state-owned banking and financial service company, conducts the Probationary Officer Exam for the recruitment of Officers in Junior Management Grade. Graduates with an economic bent of mind should clear the BOB Manipal PO exam and will then undergo a 9-month Post Graduate Certificate in Banking and Finance course in Baroda Manipal School of Banking. The applicants need to complete the programme on time (within the stipulated period) to be awarded a PG Certificate in Banking & Finance. Bank of Baroda PO Exam 2020 Pattern & Syllabus

Understanding the exam pattern before attempting the PO exam is one of the first steps to clear the Bank of Baroda Manipal Probationary Officer Exam 2020. The questions will come from the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General/ Banking/ Economy Awareness, Reasoning and Computer Aptitude. The total number of questions is 167, and the maximum marks would be 250. Students will be given three hours to complete the test. There will be negative marking scheme.

The BOB PO Syllabus 2020 covers four subjects:

General/Economy/Banking Awareness

Banking Awareness, Financial Awareness, News related to Reserve Bank of India and Current Affairs (Awards, National, International, Sports, Defence, Books & Authors, Summits, Appointment, and Obituary, etc.)

Quantitative Aptitude

Number Series, Data Interpretation, Quadratic Equation, Number Series, Miscellaneous Questions which includes Average, Profit & Loss, Approximation / Simplification, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Ratio & Proportion, Partnership, Problem on Ages, Probability, etc.

Bank of Baroda Probationary Officer (BOB PO) Selection Procedure 2020 -

The selection of candidates depends on their performance in the online written exam and Personal Interview. Students must “obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score in the online test to be shortlisted for Psychometric Assessment Test, Group Discussion & Interview”. Moreover, the Authority will select the number of candidates based on the vacancies, cut-off and total marks secured by the candidates.

Bank of Baroda PO Exam 2020 Eligibility

Nationality: Candidates from India, Nepal and Bhutan are eligible for this exam. Tibetans refugees, whose forefathers migrated to India before 1st January 1962 with an intention of settling down here on permanently, are also eligible. Also, Persons with Indian Origin who came over to India from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma and East African Countries can appear in the exam.

Educational Qualifications: Must be a Degree holder (preferably graduate) in any discipline from any university recognised by Central Government. Candidates should have scored at least 55% marks. There is relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates. They need to score at least 50% marks.

Bank of Baroda PO Exam 2020 Application Process

The Authority will tentatively start the BOB PO 2020 online registration process in the second week of June. Students who meet the above eligibility requirements can log on to the official website and submit the application form.

BOB PO 2020 Online Test Centres -

Candidates must select their preferred online test centres during the registration process. As per the officials, As far as possible candidates will be allotted to a centre of his/her choice, however, Bank also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.

The exam will be held in 28 states. They are – Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Puducherry, Odisha, Rajasthan, Punjab, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Tripura, West Bengal and Uttarakhand.

Bank of Baroda PO Exam 2019 Admit Card -

Without the hall tickets, candidates will not be permitted to appear in the test. Students can download the BOB PO 2020 admit card in May 2020. Check the steps to take a printout of the call letter -
