RRB ALP & Technician 2018 Revised Result Released for 2nd Stage CBT – Scorecard Available
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the revised result for the second stage (Computer Based Test) of the RRB ALP and Technician examination 2018. The 2nd stage CBT was conducted on 21st, 22nd, and 23rd January and 8th February 2019. The result for the same was announced on 5th April 2019.
After the result declaration, several candidates have raised objection against questions and final answer key. Thus, RRBs have considered the objections received and subsequently released a revised result/merit list for the RRB ALP and Technician examination. The official notification states,
“This result with revised score and revised list of candidates shortlisted for appearing in Aptitude test supersedes the result published on 05-04-19.”
Thus, candidates can view their revised scores and qualifying status using their log-in details. The link for checking the scores will remain active from 27th April to 10th May 2019.
Steps to Check the RRB ALP & Technician 2018 Revised Scores for 2nd CBT
- Go to the respective regional websites of the board through which you have submitted the application form.
- Click on the link for individual revised scores and shortlisting status either flashing on the top of the website or under the CEN 01/2018 section.
- You will be redirected to candidate’s login page.
- Enter your registration number and password to login.
- Your individual score and shortlisting status will appear on the screen.
- Take a print out of the same.
RRBs have also released the revised list of shortlisted candidates for the next stage of the examination i.e. Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). Candidates can check the list at the respective RRBs’ websites or as under:

RRB ALP & Technician CBAT 2018 Cut-Off of 2nd Stage CBT

RRB ALP & Technician CBAT 2018
The Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) or simply the Aptitude Test is scheduled to be conducted on 10th May 2019 in three shifts. The test will be of 71 minutes duration. “The Computer Based Aptitude Test will have a Test Battery comprising of five tests and the candidates will have to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 in each test of the test battery to qualify for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot.” The CBAT will not have any negative marking. The board will also be providing mock test for the aptitude test. Candidates can access the same at https://rdso.indianrailways.gov.in/ under the ‘Directorates’ section as ‘Psycho-Technical’. The mock test will be available from 2nd to 10th May 2019.
RRB ALP CBAT 2018 Admit Card
The e-call letter/ admit card for the CBAT exam will be available at the official RRBs’ websites four days prior to the commencement of the exam. Candidates can download their admit cards using their log-in credentials. The board will also send intimation for the call letter at candidates’ registered email ID/Mobile number.
RRB ALP CBAT 2018 Result
The board will publish the result of CBAT 2018 in the month of May and the Document Verification process for the exam will begin in May/June 2019.
RRB ALP Technical Post Selection process -
For ALP Posts -
Candidates who qualify the first stage CBT are required to appear in a computer-based Aptitude Test. And, those who qualify the Aptitude Test will be called for the Document Verification.
For Technician Posts -
Qualified candidates are required to appear for the second stage CBT. Those who get through the second stage CBT will be called for the Document Verification process.
RRB conducts the examination for the post of the Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician and other Group C posts every year across the country. The role of an ALP – Assistant Loco Pilot/ Technician is to support and direct the Senior Loco Pilot in terms of signalling lights and to help in maintaining and repairing the loco at timely intervals.
