Learn Ways to Download NEET Exam 2019 Admit Card

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is the only medical entrance examination apart from AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS in India. To get admission in any medical and dental colleges, you need NEET score for MBBS or BDS courses. The rule is applicable for all State level and National Level colleges both private and government funded. The NEET exam is scheduled on the first Sunday on May. As per the practice, we can assume that May 5 will be the tentative date for NEET exam 2019. The application form will be available from January and it will be available till first week of March.

In 2018, the application form will be available from the last week of January and the admit card will be available from April. And the exam will take place on 6th May 2018 across India in Pen and Paper Mode.

The admit card will be available to the candidates who have completed the application process and payment successfully. The Aadhar card number will be used to allot the exam centre of the candidates. Any application form without the number (except candidates from AP, Telengana, J&K) will be cancelled and applicants can’t download the admit card. The Admit card is mandatory for all the candidates as without the card no candidate will be permitted to enter the exam hall.

Steps to Download the Admit Card:

Candidates can check the easiest way to download the admit card by following the below stated process.

  1. Visit the official website of NEET exam
  2. Now on the home page, go to right panel and select the first link for ‘Download NEET UG Admit Card’.
  3. The log in page will be appeared.
  4. Candidate needs to log in with Registration Number, Date of Birth and Captcha Confirmation.
  5. Now select Log In button.
  6. You can view the admit card from your account.
  7. Check all details of the card minutely.
  8. In case of any discrepancy, take immediate action to contact the Board
  9. Download the copy of admit card and take at least two print-outs in colour for future use.

Details on the Admit Card:

After getting the admit card, take care that, all the details are in proper places. Sometimes, there are mistakes like wrong spelling or numeric data on admit card. In that case, you need to contact CBSE board immediately to make correction. Listed below the information should be on Admit card for NEET exam.

Check the legibility of the data, information, passport photo or signature on the card as illegible card will not be accepted on exam centre.

Required Documents with Admit Card:

For every downloaded admit card, the candidates need to produce some documents for verification. Without those documents, the candidature may be cancelled. So carry all the below-listed documents with you to avoid any kind of harassment.

  • One post card size photo of the candidate (Size 4 inch X 6 inch)
  • The name of the candidate and the date of taking the picture should be on image.
  • The photo must be taken after 1st January 2019.
  • On the back side of the photograph, there must be name of candidate, application number and roll number for NEET exam.
  • The photo should be affix on the Performa
  • One passport size photo preferably which will be uploaded on the time of application form application.
  • The background of image should be white
  • There will be date of taking of photograph on the passport size photo.

Things You Should Not Carry With Admit Card:

  • You should not carry any water or beverages bottle, food items etc.
  • Calculator, mobile phone, wrist watch with calculator, Bluetooth headphone etc.
  • Pen, pencil, any documents, piece of paper, eraser, cutter, scale or any other stationary is banned in the exam centre
  • Ornaments are not allowed
  • Any kind of items like watch, bracelet, handbag, wallet, cap, camera etc are not allowed.

Things You Should Know About NEET Exam Admit Card:

  • You can not change examination centre after release of admit card.
  • The admit card is available in online only. There is no provision to deliver the card to the postal address or email address of the candidate.
  • CBSE NEET is the only official website from where you can download admit card. There is no authority to any other website from where you can download the card.
  • You need the system generated registration number to log in and download the admit card.
  • The name and address of the exam centre will be on the card.
  • CBSE will publish official notification regarding the availability of admit card for NEET exam 2019.
  • You need to preserve the admit card till the date of downloading result, attending counseling and getting admission to the colleges.

NEET admit card is to help candidate to enter the exam hall but it will not ensure candidate’s admission to the MBBS or BDS courses.
